They have the best Miso Soup I've tried out of anywhere in Australia 10/10! Katsu chicken is always my go to wherever I go and id rate it a solid 7/10 the salad with it was perfect but the chicken was in my opinion missing flavour which I'm sure could of been fixed if I had asked for more Japanese mayonnaise.
The restaurant has a nice vibe inside.

We had dinner here during our family trip downsouth last time and were so happy this restaurant was open and we got to have delicious dinner that everyone enjoyed! 😋 Good thing we're there in one of the weeknights because I knew (from my past trips) this place has limited trading hours. So I specifically told my family we had to come to this place. The service by the owners were so lovely, generous portions and we even tried the beautiful sparkling sake. Must try! 🥂 A great place to dine in Denmark.

I am glad that I marked this place for dinner on a trip to Denmark in Western Australia. The food here is so comforting on a cool Spring evening. The chicken karaage has very crispy skin and juicy tender meat inside. It is the first time I have hot udon with agedashi dofu in the bowl. I am also delighted that they have Dassai 45 - perfect complement with the dishes.

A cute, cosy restaurant serving delicious Japanese comfort food.
Very reasonable prices and generous portions. Struggled to finish the dinner special (chicken katsu curry, $18) which was particularly crispy and unctuous. Udon ($18.50) broth had a balanced amount of bonito. Flavours really hit the spot.
Excellent service too.

A little, cosy, hidden gem in Denmark with amazing food, friendly service, and very cool atmosphere and decor. The owners have done a wonderful job and while the Friday lunch service was really busy, it still felt intimate and personal, with both owners checking in to let us know how long the food would be and if we enjoyed our meal. A+++ will come again.

Found this little gem in Denmark today. We saw a sign on their window that states authentic Japanese cuisine so we thought we should give it a go. Afterall we were looking for some rice dishes for our kids after a few days of fatty fried fish, burgers, chips, wedges and what have you. We love their chicken Katsu and Karaage Bento. The dressing for their salad was simply divine. The soup for their Udon was really flavoursome as well. Their staff were really friendly and we even scored a complimentary steamed edamame for waiting a bit longer for our meals!
