This an amazing & wholesome farm to table restaurant.
There is a lot of great information about what and where your food comes from.
I am not going into detail of every dish we had but they all had a lot of thought and technique.
There is an important safety issue I like to raise, the entrance from the main road is hard to see, it's pitch back, please add some lights. We will return!

The best restaurant hands down. Totally worth a trip from Melbs. The best food, staff and insanely beautiful location and atmosphere. The best chef in town! Also so good with vegetarians and vegans.

Wow! We had such a relaxed, leisurely and enjoyable Saturday lunch at Hogget. The service was great and accommodated the various physical needs of our party (deafness and walking difficulties) as well as our various dietary needs (dairy free and vegetarian). The food was fantastic with a focus on local products. Some highlights were the heirloom carrots, mushroom tart and raspberry tart. Highly recommended.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our lunch experience truly enjoyable. We had a satisfying four-course meal, which was not only delicious but beautifully presented. We sat outside, and they were more than happy to accommodate us, even with our two dogs in tow.

We'll definitely be returning to try the six-course menu next time!

We found this restaurant by accident while we were planning our weekend getaway and it is such a GEM! Food is amazing, well balanced and really nice pairing wines. Dessert is my favourite!Staff is very friendly.

Table of 4 and we had the 3 course lunch menu. Everything was absolutely delicious, the service and friendly staff made it even more enjoyable. My only regret is we didn't have the degustation menu - next time!

I chose this venue to celebrate my birthday because I loved the food the first time I came with my family. This time it was not as impressive which was disappointing - given I had spoken so highly to my guests about it and they generally weren't impressed either. We went home feeling a bit hungry still as the portions were not enough. Worse still, I made the booking about 6 weeks prior and they increased the price 5 days before my event leaving us no choice but to have to keep the booking. The change of price should have been disclosed soon after booking not just before the event. I found this to cause me to feel the lack of confidence and trust I once had for this venue. The company of my friends in the pleasant open dining room with our nice waitress were the only highlights of the day.

My husband took me here to celebrate my birthday this past winter, and my jaw dropped by how stunning Hogget Kitchen’s interior is. The wait staff are all kind and pay excellent attention to detail, the restaurant is well decorated and clean, the location is superb, the mood set by the music and lightning is incredibly romantic, the food and wine tastes like a dream and Chef Hogget is very social and likable. We got to chatting about him visiting NYC and opening his own restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen/Meat Packing District (where I’m originally from). My husband’s food intolerances were carefully accommodated by the creative and flexible chef. You are truly, and individually catered for here. The produce is local, a fact which we love. We plan to celebrate more special events here, and we fully recommend to all!
