Pretty good day out, plenty to see and do there, including the 🥔 chip drop by plane. Easily highlight, but adults weren't really encouraged to do it it was aimed at kids, but everyone likes chips. So it is inevitable that as an adult, you want to participate. The Hessian fashion show was cool as well.

Congrats to the committee and all the volunteers, it was a great day and you did well to provide as much shade as you did. Terrific variety of food choices, lots to see and do (the crate climb was super cool!) loved the chainsaw carving, wood chop and working dog&duck demo! My husband hadnt been since he was a kid and he was telling us the night before about the plane that would drop chips to the kids. Lo and behold what happened? Well done! 👍

Had an amazing time at the Thorpdale Potato Festival, such a beautiful day to enjoy! There were lots of activities and competitions running all day and open for everyone. Somemore so many delicious food options to try. Definitely a great event to visit!

The Thorpdale Potato Festival was amazing!! It was a perfect day & the venue was superb. For a very small ticket price, you got free children’s rides, face painting, petting zoo, reptile display, jumping castles & much more. There were competitions, sheep shearing, dog trials, wood carving & loads more free entertainment. There was so much food, a bar, bands & a fashion parade of clothes made out of hessian. There was at least a hundred market stalls. It was really an astonishing array of entertainment for all. Talk about value for money..!!

Great family day out! With lots of activities for the whole family all inclusive in the admission price this was high value.

Kids loved the air dropped potato chips, magic show, face painting, temporary tattoos, and reptile demonstration.

What a Super Fun Day Out.
I arrived from work at Midday and im leaving at 3.30 to get back to work. I had a split shift although and they can be a bummer at times. I thoroughly enjoyed myself at The Potato Festival today loads to see and BUY omg sooo many wonderful Market Stall Holders and different foods.
Thank you to ALL of the people involved for putting this event on including all of the wonderful volunteers.
I spoke to Tash in the canteen and you have all worked so hard especially in this HEAT.

A fantastic day out with so much to do for all of the family. Stalls, events, exhibitions, demonstrations, kids programs… even a plane dropping potato chips from the sky! Volunteers are amazing and go above and beyond to make this wonderful event happen.
