Our family had a great camping experience this easter long weekend. Lots of fun easter activities kept us busy.
The camp ground is beautiful, scenic, well serviced with good facilities.

I really love this place. Budget friendly. We stayed in a Motel room. Right next door to the common room, which had fireplace, kitchen, dining tables, pool table and TV. Rooms are nothing fancy, but they are comfy, warm. showers were good pressure. Great view out our window. Man at office was very nice. We WOULD stay here again for sure. Love it. Might try a cubby cabin, or a normal cabin next time. We stayed here 2 nights, Friday 26-7-24, til the 28-7-24.

The Good:|(1) stunning location of Mt Erica, great views|(2) the property is set in the country side, very large property and quiet|(3) tourist park is easy to find, well sign-posted|(4) casual check in process, reserve directly online. |(5) the whole motel complex faces the mountains - amazing view from our room|(5) common room equipped with kitchen, fireplace, lounge area, dining tables. It has cute vintage country/communal camp vibes. ||Other:|(1) the motel complex and rooms are a bit run down and need a good spring clean/dust. They're not unhygienic, they just need some attention.|(2) no microwave in room as eating is not allowed. |(3) bedlinen - the doona cover is made of a some synthetic material so it is super warm but it does not breathe. This will not suit those that are prone to eczema or heat||Overall, this is a great motel where the location and views trump everything else.

We stayed in the “family chalet” over the Easter long weekend, the price was very reasonable and it was nice and clean.
The booking experience was pleasant, manager was really nice and went out of her way to inform us of a cancellation so we could change rooms to be closer to our friends.
Over the long weekend, the accomodation ran free events for adults and children including 4WD tours, dog tricks, rocket making and billy-cart rides - we loved all of them and the volunteers were very nice. The property was lovely to explore.
We would definitely stay here again, thanks for a great weekend!

If you want country vibes. Look no further. We stayed for the weekend. And we cannot express how amazing and relaxing our stay was. The owners are down to earth and very welcoming. The cabins were fit with split systems so our kids stayed nice and warm. And the beds were clean and super comfy!!!And they have a amazing entertainment room with a canara and pool table with a fully equipped kitchen. They provide firewood and we're very attentive to our needs. The views from the deck are extraordinary. The sunrise is picture perfect. The spa retreats are a must for the romantic getaway. I highly recommend mountain rivers for your weekend away to relax after a long week and to recharge. I definitely needed it. Thankyou to the owners for such a fantastic experience and we'll definitely be coming back on a regular basis.

Very lovely owner couple. We stayed overnight and kids loved looking at their sheep, a 5 day old lamb and horses and wandered around. Perfect sunrise and a cozy kitchen and dining area. Very close to mt baw baw via unsealed road and walhalla
