Katie & the 40RD team were a DREAM to work with. We hosted out Gut Summit there yesterday and the venue was perfect.

They have considered EVERY detail. The design, the furniture, the layout, the easy access for set up. All our guests loved the space too.

We had our wedding just over a month ago at 40rd and it was the perfect venue for us. We wanted a warehouse, industrial vibe and had looked at many other venues. However these were all on the other side of the city and we really wanted something on the south side. So when we stumbled across 40rd we locked it in. Katie and Justin are so personable and easy to deal with. Katie understood our vision and helped us bring it to life. Our wedding was a cocktail style with approximately 110 guests. The venue speaks for itself and we only made a few additional touches to make it our own. Justin designed the most delicious menu for our evening. The late night munchies came out towards the end of the night and were a hit. We can't recommend 40rd enough and feedback is still coming in from our guests about how fantastic our wedding was. We had our wedding at 40rd earlier this month and absolutely loved it! The venue is stunning and so versatile. We could do exactly what we wanted with it. Katie and her team were super helpful and assisted so much with tips and advice to make sure our day went off without a hitch. Everyone raved about the food and and no one left hungry (which is sometimes a concern with a cocktail wedding!). Cannot thank everyone at Fourside events and 40rd for all of there assistance and support for the best day we could have hoped for. Highly recommend!!!

The Clothing Exchange recently hosted our clothing swap event at 40rd as part of the Sustainable Living Festival and the venue was perfect! Despite the temperature rising outside the venue stayed cool and comfortable for our guests. In the lead up to the event, Katie was extremely accommodating and friendly and took extra care to ensure our event came to life on the day. She event provided beautiful fresh watermelon and toast for my event volunteers! I would rebook 40rd in a second and hope to be back in the space soon!

I was the florist at a 40Rd wedding at the end of May 2018, and I could not speak more highly of Katie, Justin and the rest of the events team. At our initial meeting Katie and Justin were clearly passionate about their work, and had great attention to the finer details of the event, which made me excited to work with them. The day itself included a flip of the room (ceremony and reception were held in the same space) and a total transformation of the space was achieved in less than 45 minutes with the help of their army of staff. Everybody was so fun and easy to work with, and my assistant and I were lovingly given food, drink and lollies to keep us pumping through the afternoon. The bride and groom reached out en route to their honeymoon, and were both just delighted at how easily and beautifully everything came together, which is in no small part thanks to Katie and Justin’s expertise and dedication to delivering fabulous events. Fingers crossed we get to work together again!!

I can't even begin to list the things which were exceptional about the 40 40rd venue! We have had an endless number of guests tell us how delicious the food was (and how much there was!), the service was impeccable and the space is perfect for clients who want to create their own style.
I would HIGHLY recommend the 40 rd venue and their team- we couldn't fault them.

I thought the manager could have been more helpful. Food was good. We had to ask for coffee 5 times and when it arrived, it was cold. A little disappointed.
