Had the seniors lunch today with my 2 girlfriends and it was all very good. The salt and pepper squid was tender and nice as was the pavlova. Hadn't been there for a number of years but will definitely go back again.

This venue,the famous " Windy Hill Footy Club" is set out very well.The staff all were welcoming and helpful in their tasks.The place is spacious and it includes a TAB,Function , food and drinks areas,the " pokies" room .Whilst the good selection of food served up for the main course was plentiful and well presented,my group thought that it was a bit on the bland side.The "soup of the day " whilst looking wholesome and homemade in style,the ingredients in it seemed like it was created out of leftovers .We all enjoyed the dessert dishes.

Watching the Essendon VFLW play here. The staff were amazing. They offered my elderly mother seats by the fence, when she suggested sitting in the stand, they offered to assist her up the stairs. Later we were escorted on to the ground for photos. Amazing day.

Sadly, the food in the Bistro is just getting worse and worse. Not sure what's going on in the kitchen?
The staff are extremely rude and so unhelpful - the elderly lady is the worst!
Never order the Soup as it's always disgusting and the rest of the food is just tasteless. It's becoming worse than Cafeteria food.
It's a shame as it was once such a lovely place to eat at.

Seniors meals were a bit small and the snitizle was a bit overcooked and parts were hard to chew. Plenty of chips and salad. Service was really quick, although there was not many people there.

Ordered a medium rib eye...tried 2 eat it after it came out well done plus tax and the so called chef did not want 2 hear about it. Won't be back

I'm a big essendon fan and it the first time I eat at the bistro I took my mum for mother day and to my surprise I'm a big fan of the food I had the windy hill parma it was nice the price is a little expensive but I would go back
