We had the buffet menu and all the dishes were yummy! Couldn’t stop from going for third share. The ambience of the place was amazing, family friendly, the staffs were welcoming. Spacious and lots of vegetarian options too. They have lots of free parking. Highly recommended. Make sure you check if their buffet menu is available before walking in. Thank you

I recently visited Swagat The Welcome Indian Restaurant in Thomastown, to celebrate my son 13th birthday 21st April 2025 and I was thoroughly impressed. The dining area is well-designed with ample seating arrangements, creating a comfortable ambiance for a pleasant dining experience.

We decided to pay Swagat a visit for the first time. From the get go, the restaurant was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. Our dishes came out very quickly and every item was delectable!! Truly delicious, from the meat dishes down to the daal, paneer, and various types of Naan and rice varieties — everything was fantastic. We cannot fault a single thing. Top notch food and accent service. We will certainly be back!

A hidden Gem with a great variety of food options. Have lived close to this restaurant for quite some time and recently attended. Their menu is fabulous and so is their Buffet and drink options. Good variety of veg and Non-Veg dishes, with a tasty drinks menu and presentation. Staff and atmosphere is always lovely and welcoming.

Have already visited 4 times this month and there are plenty more visits to come.

This restaurant was a surprising find, which was done when I was travelling on a train to the city.

We ordered mutton Rogan Ghosh, Chicken with spinach, yellow Dahl, aloo gobi, a paneer dish, 2 different types of rice, 2 garlic nans and a cheese nan.

All dishes tasted really great and to me the stars of the show were the chicken cooked with spinach and the yellow Dahl.

The service was spot on, and the food arrived within 10 mins after the order was placed.

It was a great dining experience and we thoroughly enjoyed the food.

We recently held our daughter’s Nikah ceremony at Swagat Indian Restaurant & Events Centre with about 90 guests, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was exceptional!

The ambiance and decor were beautifully arranged, creating an elegant and warm setting for our special occasion. The staff ensured every detail was perfect, making our guests feel comfortable and well cared for.

The food was absolutely amazing! Every dish was full of authentic flavors, fresh, and beautifully presented. Our guests had nothing but positive feedback, praising both the quality and variety of the menu, special thanks to the chef.

The buffet dinner during weekdays was really nice with per person $22.99. Kids age 3 are free. The place is big and has space for parties. We really had a great time

This is a hidden gem in Thomastown! Their decor us super unique and unlike anything I have seen before. But then came the food which was even more amazing that the decor! Superior flavours, a variety of dishes and really good quality presentation! Perfect for any kind of event! I loved loved loved the dhal makhni and butter so highly reccomend when choosing from the catering menu! Also their meats are Ll halal so perfect to feed your guest too!
