Getting married at Log Cabin Ranch was an absolute dream come true! It had been on our radar for a while, and we were so lucky to snag one of the last available dates for 2025—we couldn’t have been happier.

What we loved most about LCR was that it’s a DIY venue, which meant we had complete freedom to make our wedding exactly how we wanted it. On top of that, having access to the venue from Friday to Sunday turned our wedding into an entire weekend of celebration, not just a single day. It gave us the chance to really spend quality time with our closest friends and family, and the on-site accommodation made it especially easy and stress-free for those who had travelled far.

The property itself is absolutely stunning. There are so many different spaces to choose from, which makes it incredibly versatile no matter what kind of style or vibe you’re going for.

Courtney and Mark, the owners of LCR, are two of the most lovely, helpful, and genuine people you could ever hope to work with. From the moment we first enquired, right through to after the wedding, they consistently went above and beyond our expectations. Courtney is incredibly organised and gave us so much valuable advice throughout the planning process. Her communication was always prompt and thoughtful—she never hesitated to answer our (many!) questions, whether over email or on a quick call.

In the week leading up to the wedding, Courtney and Mark coordinated with all of our vendors to finalise last-minute details, which was such a weight off our shoulders. Over the wedding weekend itself, they were both amazing—ensuring everything ran smoothly, helping wherever they could, and doing it all with such calm and kindness.

So many of our guests commented on how beautiful and unique the venue was, and we couldn’t agree more. Log Cabin Ranch gave us the perfect setting for the celebration we envisioned, and we are so incredibly grateful to Courtney and Mark for making it all possible.

Such a charming venue! Going Gourmet has catered here for many many years. Its rustic chic matches our food and menu design. The facilities are excellent. The venue has beautiful kept gardens, hosts an incredible amount of photogenic spots and places to feature your bridal party. Wow, book them and we will be there for sure!

Not only is this venue absolutely stunning and well looked after, the owners Courtney and Mark are just such beautiful people that really care about your experience on the day. Just got married this month at the stunning Log Cabin Ranch and could not be more proud. Courtney and Mark are fantastic with fast communication and everything so easily laid out. They supported us not just in the lead up to the day, but were an amazing support on the day with updates and helping out with the ceremony. The design of the space is beautifully rustic with complete control over how you want to set up.

We had so many guests tell us it was a fantastic venue with space to spread out, accommodation and glamping tents. They have everything you need including kitchen, retreat room to get ready, bunkhouse for guests to stay and the option for an indoor or outdoor ceremony and reception.

They run regular open nights for you to go and inspect and speak to the owners who will answer all your questions.

Absolutely phenomenal. From the communication leading up, to recommendations or ideas, to support on the day, they are absolutely perfection. If you want a rustic Australian bushland venue, look no further. Big bonus is the onsite accommodation and weekend wedding packages. It was absolutely the most magical weekend I have ever had and it was all made possible by this exceptional venue. Highly recommend!!!

Log Cabin Ranch was the MOST beautiful setting for our wedding. Courtney and Mark were so welcoming and accommodating. Courtney kept in contact with us throughout the entire covid lockdown nightmare of a journey. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and the venue is nothing short of magical. I can't thank them enough for their kindness, patience and amazing hospitality.

We had our wedding at LCR in March 2025. We loved the venue so much we only looked at one option and fell in love. Courtney and Mark were so prompt with all communications, hosted lots of come and visit nights in the lead up so we could show the venue off to our bridal parties and parents, and gave such clear and detailed information that we always felt like everything was under control. Throughout the day / weekend, they both helped to coordinate vendor locations which helped the days run so smoothly and vendors on their recommendation list ended up being so good that we used most of them for our special day.
The venue was divine, everyone raved about how beautiful it as (especially at night), and having access to the BBQ the next morning made the whole weekend last so much longer!

PS glamping tent beds may have been the world's comfiest mattresses!

We would give Log Cabin Ranch 1000/5 stars if we could! We had the absolute privilege of getting married at this stunning venue. We only looked at one venue and it was an easy yes for us! The venue is exquisite and showcases the very best of the Dandenong Ranges which we also live in! It has everything you could ask for, from beautiful expansive landscapes to the animals, and ability to stay on site in either in a glamping tent or in their well cleaned and maintained bunkhouse accomodation. (Very clean! And as two school teachers, we would also recommend this venue for school camps). We had over 150 guests at our wedding and lots of kids and this venue was perfect!

Every guest was blown away by the venue and fell in love with it just as we did!
This now brings us to the best part of Log Cabin Ranch, Courtney and Mark. It is hard to put this into words but, not only are they two beautiful and genuine people they made our day the best day ever. They answered all my questions, supported us on the day and lead up and were a true pleasure to deal with. We planned our whole wedding, which meant it was everything we imagined, but this would not have been possible with the tips, tricks and support from Courtney and Mark.

Courtney and Mark were again phenomenal after a massive storm across the state led to a power outage… we were put at ease by their communication and by putting in place so many measures from their end to help put us at ease.

We had the most magical wedding day and would highly recommend this beautiful venue to anyone and everyone! A massive thank you to LCR and Courtney and Mark!
