Glenys was such a warm and caring host, treated us like family as apose to guests.
Great location and spotless accomodation. Also very generous breakfast provided. Our 2 year old daughter had a ball playing outside in the sandpit and in the cubby house😊

I made a booking via Booking.com in March this year for 3 days in May 2021. Booking was confirmed via Booking.com. Made an extra booking in May 2020 to extend the above stay by one day. This was also confirmed by Booking.com. Received a phone call from Glenys that they would not honour my booking for the one day because the property was already booked. I explained that it was me that had made the booking. She said that it wasn't me and that I didn't have a booking. She kept telling me that I didn't have a booking. It took it four times to explain that I had made a booking in March for May 2021 for three days. She also queried what year I had made the booking for and I explained I knew that it was for next year 2021. She then argued with me telling me that she had not confirmed either booking. I explained that both bookings were confirmed via Booking.com. She then said that I hadn't paid. I then explained twice that both bookings did not require payment. Glenys then said that I can't stay because I have given the booking to someone else and if you turn up you won't have anywhere to stay. She did offer to find me other accommodation but I did not accept this offer because she was not able to sort out her own booking. If a person has made a legitimate booking via a booking service then it should be honoured. I don't appreciate receiving a phone call from a person telling me that I was in the wrong and me having to defend myself. My wife has MS and Stage 4 Bone Cancer and the last thing we need is to be made to feel that I had done something wrong when Glenys was the person completely at fault.

Staying in town, staying out of town... decisions, decisions. And in Warrnambool there's no shortage of decisions, but that doesn't always make for an easy pick. Here though, even with the options, the pet friendly accommodation was lacking, but Wypinga proudly wore their pet-friendly stripes.

Being perfectly honest, I had started searching for a room in town, closer to shops, but I'm very glad I ended up in Wypinga. Glenys' place is a very short, easy, quick trip into shops - I walked there twice. But that shows how little I knew of the town. It could not have worked out better.

Glenys ensured everything I wanted was in the unit before I arrived. And it is a unit, a one bedroom unit - a one bedroom house. Recently renovated, stocked up, furnished great, here I was spoiling myself. The bedroom is simply beautiful, too beautiful for me and the dogs to spoil, the mattress of the sofa bed is the most comfortable sofa bed mattress I've ever slept on, I slept on it four nights without complaint - you can have a family stay here easily.

Wypinga has the advantages of both a B&B and a Cottage experience. There's common entrances, there's private entrances. Glenys gets you everything you need, but you need nothing because it's a small fully contained home you arrive and stay at. Undercover parking included.

Yeah, I went down to the beach, so what - i'm from Sydney.... the real excitement of Warrnambool was exactly where and when I stayed. The wheat was in full 'bloom' and the air smelled sweet from the lush fields. The lane-ways around Wypinga are rust coloured stretches begging you to their end, lined with massive hypnotic cows on either side that either run to the fence-line at their curiosity of you, or away at their fear, usually one then the other... I walked those lanes with the dogs almost getting whiplash from turning left to right to see the sights.

The only thing left to mention is Henry, that furry chunk of friendly pooch was a load of fun, a black and white corgi mix - a rare and very beautiful sight to see.
