Great location, everything is easily accessible by heading straight back out onto the highway.
Lovely and clean cabins with easy access to parking. Everything you need is in the cabin but the camp kitchen has a lovely coffee and hot chocolate machine (be sure to have some loose coins for it!) the park itself seemed to have a good layout although we didn't wander around to much. The kids loved the play area.
The only thing that could possibly do with a little attention was the carpet looked like it could do with a steam clean, but having kids, I also know that you can do it and 10 mins later it needs doing again so definitely wasn't holding that as a negative. All in all a great stay and a great looking park. Very friendly when checking in at reception also and would definitely stay again as was the perfect location and perfect cabin for our little weekend break.

We were very pleased with the cabin and service. Was next to a little dog park with in the Caravan park our little dog had it all to herself and had fun exploring around. Was wonderful to also have a talk with the 2 lovely gentlemen next to us they were very worried about getting back to Tweets Head. Do hope all went well. Thanks for a lovely time.

Good cabin for a caravan park, well designed (by a caravan manufacturer) eg lights by bunk beds, little details. Beds for six, would be sleeping room and not much else for six. We were a couple and it was good. Shower had excellent toiletries. Kitchen had all needed. TV had zip wifi and you would need your own subscription services if you use those. We appreciated the iron in the external laundry and the games room was fun one afternoon (room closes earlier than sunset). Very convenient location to easily walk to see the New Year's Eve fireworks. Family friendly, looking at those around us. Close to highway, but no disturbance, quiet. We found half a dozen wild koalas in the trees, that made our stay!

booked through a 3rd party and then rang the park to make sure my boat could be parked beside the cabin. was told yes on both times. only to be put in a cabin that my boat does fit! would of booked somewhere else if I knew.

I stayed in one of the cabins and it was the absolute best cabin I've stayed in, and I've stayed in quite a few. It appeared to be quite new, and everything was clean and worked well. I was especially thankful for the reverse cycle air conditioner that warmed up the cabin quickly.||The staff were friendly as well.

Overall our experience at this park in the two days we spent here was ok. No issues really with amenities or our ensuite site and pad for our caravan. These were all clean tidy and easily accessible. Had a nice grassed area in front of the ensuite caravan sites. There was a descent communal kitchen and shower/toilet buildings. Staff were friendly in the office our booking was easy and they even allowed us to move a site or two from our original booking being off season park was pretty quiet on a tourist point of view. However we discovered that there were nearly 100 annual sites with people living in the park on a full time basis for whatever reason. We came across several annual site holders using the camp kitchen etc which was ok but it meant that the tourist side had limited access and use of resources. There was also higher than normal traffic flow at all
hours through the park. Basically it’s a park that I cannot really fault in the sense of good facilities service etc but from a tourist visitor point of view I would look at other options i.e. closer to town and the water. There are other parks that are much nicer in a tourist sense. But if you have no other options then this park is still nice and still an option to stay overnight or couple nights. Hope this review makes sense because I don’t want to sound negative. Just stating it didn’t have a touristy vibe.

We enjoyed a two-night stay in a Koala cabin, choosing this park because it allows dogs in some cabins. The park was easy to find, on the edge of Portland just off the main road into town.||Check-in was friendly and we were pleased to find our cabin was very modern, clean and spacious with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.||The park was quiet throughout our stay and offered a good base for our activities in Portland. A small dedicated space for dogs to run around off leash was handy.||We'd recommend the good value cabin accommodation at this park to anyone visiting Portland but especially so if travelling with dogs.
