One of Victoria's hidden gems. Service is amazing and so friendly. Clean comfortable rooms. Food was amazing best home made hamburger I have had in a long time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an out of away getaway in country Victoria. True old fashion pub and service which is very rare to find

The New owners took over mid 2024 we have had dreadful uncooked, poorly prepared seafood which if eaten would’ve given me food poisoning, this has happened now on 4 different occasions, the most recent on Feb 9th 2025, where we were charged over $55 dollars for undercooked salt and pepper squid and a Parmigiana that was so burnt that it was inedible. The service is poor, management are rude and blame their employees for any problems that arise, and have a bad attitude when complaints are made about the terrible food that is allowed to leave the kitchen! We are locals and will never step foot inside this place whilst the current owners are still operating this business!

Pizza was soooo good. Great value for money. Service was great and enjoyed the experience even though we couldn’t play pool. Cheers Mr Wood.

The owners / managers/ staff are the most obliging and dealt with our various last minute changes and very late arrival well after the hotel had closed and kitchen also just so obligingly. They even made up a very flavoursome meal out of whatever was at hand. Next time we will stop and have a proper meal. In the meantime it is just so lovely to think there are businesses who are so friendly. Thank you 🙏

We came here for the Sunday roast.

Had the chicken and beef - with self serve sides!

My two friends and i had decided to get dinner last minute.
We were so thankful they were so approachable especially close to the kitchen closing time.
It was Parma night so of course we decided to go with a parma, some different options on the menu to what I see everywhere else. The chef said she creates the menu herself. Great sized meal I got the "BAH Parma" - bacon, avocado & hollandaise sauce. Was delicious , staff were great to have a chat with nice country pub, would recommend stopping for a delicious meal 100%

Update 19/8/23. The food here would have to be some of the best pub meals I've ever had!! Huge serves, superb quick friendly service, and always top quality 👌 👏 Highly recommend running down to Darty to try it. 👌
