I recently had a lovely brunch with friends at Churchill Cafe. While it was a bit pricy, the food was definitely worth it. The toast was perfectly toasted, with a crisp exterior and soft interior. I loved the toppings on it. The pancakes were fluffy and light, and the ice cream and fruits were delicious. The cafe had a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome. Overall, I had a great brunch experience. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was friendly. I would definitely recommend this cafe to others.

A lovely olde style Cafe. Food is well presented and yummy. The mushroom madness is full of flavour. A variety of dishes to choose from. Also great for just a coffee stop. Friendly staff.

Edit: came back a second time, unfortunately the mushrooms were actually fridge cold, not sure what went wrong.

I hardly give 5 stars, and this is only my first visit.
I used to walk pass this cafe on the way to Mont Albert Station, and I wondered why it was so busy. It was closed and renovated during Level Crossing work. We lost Mont Albert Station, but this is a great find - I have never seen such beautifully presented and yet tasty breakfast. My friend and I both ordered The Churchill, she ordered Chai Tea and I ordered a latte.
The serving of the breakfast was generous but not too crowded, and I love the variety. Perfectly poached eggs. Beacons were not too hard. Avocado was the centre piece and it was fresh.
The coffee was good. My friend and I will take another friend and her guide dog here next time. I will update my review 😊

Although our food was beautifully presented, disappointingly, only one out of four of us enjoyed our meal. Our table was sticky, one person's coffee order was forgotten and upon payment we discovered a 1.1% charge for using card.
There is a cute outdoor area for dining on sunny days.

Much improved upon last visit. Well presented although I couldn’t really taste the truffle in the truffle omelette. Lots of favourites on the menu and great to see the Mont Albert village alive.

Lovely warm cafe with fire place inside. There is a courtyard with just as many seats as inside. Tables for singles, couples or larger groups are available. A good selection of food on the menu with a selection of cakes from the counter as well. Some staff are friendlier than others. I rather enjoyed my smoked salmon linguine and my friend liked her open sandwich with salmon. Next time I'll try the open sandwich. Enough choices to keep coming back if you like variety. There is a specials board as well. Street parking right in front is only 1 hour but more parking is available in the parking lot nearby.
