Well...not sure why so many bad reviews. Yes, it was a bit pricey but what isn't now days?!
The Parmi I had was cooked to perfection, compliments to the chef. The chicken was moist and beautiful, some parmi's you get are overcooked and dry as. I am a parmi guy and this one was up there with the best of them. Liked how you could get your own salad from the salad bar, which was very tasty.
I also had an iced chocolate which was nice in taste, not a fan of those jars with handles in place of the old sundae type glasses. I suppose it's a cost cutting thing.
Overall, very happy with the food, service and experience.
Will start saving for our return visit, whenever that may be.

Lovely garden entrance, clean, and positive vibes. Service is friendly and attentive. Food is fresh and very tasty. I had an omelette and was very satisfied. Highly recommend. Can be busy in peak times. Enjoy ❤️

This is a great little cafe in Ulverston, the staff were friendly and helpful the food was great, I had a latte served in a tall glass with a handle thanks guys 😁I appreciate that,the coffee was nice and creamy and well executed with two shots, I like strong coffee so next time I'm going to ask for an extra shot I also had a freshly squeezed pineapple and orange juice very nice. My friend had a skim flat white but she says it was more like a latte, she ordered the coffee to be served in a t/a cup which she got she also said that the coffee was nice but next time with an extra shot 😁 . The cafe has a nice relaxed vibe and is a little quirky with outdoor/indoor seating, I recommend this cafe and we will be back.

Roast beef & lamb with vegetables in Bain Marie priced at $25 with choice of vanilla slice or pavlova appeared, at first to be reasonable value. Unfortunately, the bain marie was either not working, as some of the vegetables were cold. The cauliflower bake was cooked to the point where it was mush and the peas were sitting in cold water. The meat was passable but overall an extremely disappointing meal. I have had better in a frozen meal from the supermarket. The pavlova took an eternity to arrive and initially was being brought out with 1 raspberry until one of the staff called it back. An additional couple of pieces of fruit were added but it didn't help as the pavlova was plain and had no taste. I would not recommend this establishment unless they drastically improved the quality of the food and the service.

Haven't been here for a while, changed name and owners. Very impressed great food, good sized meals with fair prices. All day breakfast is always a winner too. Waitress friendly and helpful. Decor simple and modern. Licenced too. Parking outside, public toilets close by

I ordered a ham and cheese crossaint, it was squished in the sandwich press. It was plonked down on the table, I asked what happened to the crossaint. He just looked at me and walked away.
