Such a lovely experience on a cold rainy autumn day. A lovely Swedish/Austrian lady who cooks up delicious treats. Everything was so good and traditional and thoroughly enjoyed. The creamy strudel certainly was my favourite but we loved everything. Thank you.

Absolute hidden gem! this place is so cute! Every table has a different cute set of salt and pepper shakers. You get a meal that you'd expect to pay $50 for in Sydney for $16. Fresh free range eggs, homemade Swedish, Austrian and Aussie food! The garden outside is gorgeous too and the little Swedish knick knacks everywhere. Even the toilet was cute! Everything has had so much love and effort put into it thank you 🤩

This is a lovely caffe. We stopped for lunch. Had the 2 specials. It has a nice feel and is warm inside. The fireplace was a welcome spot to sit.

The desert window has a great selection and the coffee was good.

Go hunting for the little books about Sweden. They are funny.

Beautiful interior, friendly staff and incredible value for money.
We ordered the OTT (over the top) Breakfast and were treated to a mountain of food including 3 double yolk eggs for only $25.
Coffee is amazing too.
Also loved the slideshows with photos from Maydena snowing in winter.

What a delightful surprise on our way to Cradle Mountain from Hobart! The coffee is great, and the cherry topfen strudel is delicious. Can't wait to visit again! 😋 The view is lovely too.

What a gem. Definitely have the apple strudel - if there is any left! All the baked goods looked amazing. The couple that owns it is so lovely. Definitely make sure you stop here if your'e driving through and if you stay in Maydena definitely worth a trip every day.

Stumbled upon this very cute and authentic Swedish cafe on my way to Junee Cave (also a must see!). Had the vegetarian waffle and it was amazing! The place is decorated beautifully for Christmas. Definitely recommend stopping by.
