We stayed 5 nights here while doing the self guided AusWalks Flinders Island walk. Jon was a fantastic host and excellent chef , he prepared great meals, was attentive to different dietary requirements of all guests and we felt thoroughly spoilt.Some of the buildings are in need of some TLC and a bit of a refresh but accomodation was clean and comfortable with great views of Mt Strzelecki and the sea , can highly recommend

Falsely advertised as chef prepared meals. We had 2 young, lovely backpackers cooking basic meals. We discovered ruined enclosed vegetable gardens which were dilapidated and a sign of a once thriving produce to table ethos...very disappointing that current information is not provided. Our room was comfortable, the views and natural surroundings were beautiful.

We stayed at Mountain Seas Lodge as part of a ten-member group holiday and it was absolute perfection. Toni and Scott are fabulous hosts providing excellent accommodation and superb food. Welcoming, helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay.|Our queen size room was large, comfortable and well-equipped as was the ensuite bathroom.|Toni is an excellent chef and our three meals a day were a treat . A simple continental breakfast, packed lunches and a two-course meal every night ensured we were very well fed.|Highly recommended.|Liz and John

As a couple we stayed at Mountain Seas as part of walking holiday. Toni and Scott are delightful hosts. Toni runs a well organized accommodation and her restaurant is an additional bonus. The freshest ingredients possible are used to delight the palate. Toni also provide our packed lunches for our day’s walk with more than enough food to fuel our steps. A cake or muffin rounded out our afternoon break. Rooms are well appointed and we enjoyed walking to up each day to check out Mt Strzelecki, was it clouded over or clear, and each evening saying good night to the wallabies.

Toni and Scott are fabulous hosts and their property is everything we hoped for. Clean, modern rooms with lovely meals available in the dining room. Enjoy counting the wallabies and wombats that come out onto the lawns below the mountains every evening. I’d recommend Mountain Seas Lodge to anyone looking for a nice place to stay on Flinders Island.

We were part of a small tour group that stayed at Mountain Sea Lodge for two nights.|Nestled below the huge rock formations of Mt Strzlecki the location is just awesome. Our room had an awesome view over the mountain and we were able to watch the wallabies feeding in the evening. The resident duck, Pacific Gull and a rather fat Paddymelon Wallaby all turned up to say hello and get a free feed.|Out hosts Toni and Scott are just lovely and make you feel right at home.|Dinners were amazing, using local produce in their menu.|There are walking tracks on the property and it is only 2 km to Trousers Beach in the National Park which is spectacular. Highly recommend staying at Mountain Sea Lodge when you visit the beautiful Flinders Island.

I stayed at the Mountain seas loge with a group of 9 on a charter excursion. Simply put, one of the great finds around this entire country. Beautifully appointed with views from every room that one could never tire of. The Dinners served by Tony were delicious and different and the rooms were as comfortable as they could be . I had a separate bathroom across the landing but it was mine. The bigger rooms have couches and some have Balconies. A great deck to sit on and have a few drinks before dinner. Located close to trousers beach which is one of the most beautiful in the country. I will be back

Spent 2 nights here on an Air Safari to Flinders Island. Toni & Scott were the perfect hosts. Well fitted rooms, fresh local produce in the restaurant. Great to see real customer service returning post-Covid. Perfect setting between precipitous mountainous and the ocean. Abundant wildlife in lodge grounds. Had a great stay, thankyou.
