Dining experience here is great, the staff are fantastic, cater to your needs and very friendly. The bar service is also fast and efficient, they will even bring drinks to your table. Beautiful and welcoming wood heater in winter, which is very cozy and gives great ambience. The downside is the menu is very limited for choice, and once the dining room is at capacity, it becomes very noisy and its difficult to enjoy a quiet dinner.

Cannot speak more highly of local treasure, Bass and Flinders Motor Inn, I used their accommodation and business venue for several months. Got to be one of the cleanest motels I have ever stayed in! The owners were very helpful and I was always warmly greeted. We were well looked after in their business venue as well. Thank you Mary, Bill and son Hamish, you have made working away a better experience for me.

Passed by this property on the way to various towns and Stanley on a day trip from Launceston and kept it in mind for our return. After a less than warm reception at another property we were greeted in a friendly and professional manner here.|The room was clean and well-appointed so we decided to try the restaurant. More friendly staff and good food. Some of the diners seemed to be locals which we thought showed that the restaurant was well-regarded. |This motel also serves breakfast, so we didn’t have to go in search of a cafe. Reasonable prices too.|We would stay here again when visiting the north west coast of Tassie

This motel is one of the best I have stayed in. Bed and pillow very comfortabel. Good quality line. Microwave and crockery was a plus. Shelf space for all the luggage etc. Plenty of space in bathroom to sit makeup and other toiletries. It was great to have the on site laundry and restaurnat available. Very clean and lovely staff. Can't wait to go back. Also within walking distance of the beach.

Centrally located. The rooms were clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Ease of a supermarket close by to grab some supplies and head back to the room. |Great for families.|Thank you to the team at B&F we had a very comfortable stay. || We highly recommend and will be back!

what a special place to stay - an amazing place in such a peaceful environment and incredible and helpful staff. Rooms so clean and cleaners so willing to top up everything and change your linen and towels. The little dogs there, Charlie and Abbie, are part of the family, but watch out for Abbie coz she lies in the middle of the drive, so be cautious so you dont run over her. If you are going to stay in ULverstone, stay at the Bass and Flinders - their food is incredible - the chef used to cook for navy officals and the portions are so big that you have to take them back to your room and spend a week getting though them! Amazing food and all so fresh - thank you so much you guys

Enjoyed another regular club evening dining at Bass & Flinders. Fish of The Day delicious as usual, generous serving. Staff and manager very friendly and community minded. Dining area recently renovated, bright and airy. Good value for money.

We stayed here on our first night in tassie and on our way back to the boat. The rooms are clean and tidy, bed comfortable, showers clean. Spacious rooms. The owner was very friendly and recommended places to eat and told us how long it would take us to get to the boat.
