What a gem of a find, perfect in everyway. The view was magnificant; the facilities, ambience and set up 11/10. There was everything we could need and more, even a picnic basket and thermos. The expansive double glazed windows kept us nice and cosy. This was a fascinating area to explore.

Spectacular views over Killiecrankie Bay greet you as you step into this delightful self contained accommodation. We stayed in the smaller Queen studio which has been very thoughtfully designed and decorated.|The kitchen had everything we needed, including a rice cooker and coffee machine. There is a large fridge and all the utensils you could need, including decent sharp knives.|The apartment was immaculate, bed very comfortable and the air conditioning kept us comfortable. Floor to ceiling glass on the north side made the most of the views.|Ian is an excellent welcoming host, highly recommended.

Amazing views of the sea, bush walks, walks to the beach over the rocks exploring rock pools or just sitting and reading and relaxing. The home is well appointed has everything you need. It can be a little ways to travel into town and other places to explore. We didn't drive at dusk/night due to the wildlife emerging onto the roads one need to be aware of this. Check out the opening hours of the shops and purchase what you need as it's a bit of a drive into town. The BBQ is fantastic nice and easy meals. Your hosts check in on you via messenger to see if everything is OK, useful notes are on hand for the visitors. Wi-Fi is only available in the house if you don't have Telstra you have no service anywhere on the Island. We stayed in Nautilus 1

I stayed in Nautilus 2 with my wife and a good friend.
The house was immaculate with enough room to be well apart if required.
Appointed very well with all the amenities we could have needed.
The views, location and solitude were precisely what we needed.
Ian as advertised as a Superhost which is exactly how we would describe him.
We will definitely be back, and hopefully with more friends to stay in Nautilus 1 as a group holiday.

Flinders Island is a hidden treasure. It is better in our view, than the Bay of Fires having visited both. You have to work at it, you must be prepared to drive to drop dead stunning beaches and remote walking tracks and you need to be organised as the nearest shop from Killiecrankie is 46 kms away and there are not many of them! We have seen a lot of beaches over the years and have never seen the equal of Flinders Island, without any footprints||||Nautilus 2 is a beautifully thought out, modern, 2 Bed/2 Bath beach house, immaculate, rooms that all work and which look out over the water to Mt Killiecrankie. Direct access to the 3km beach of pure white sand - wallabies every evening. If you want high fashion, multiple restaurants and three coffees a day, don't come. If you want beautiful solitude, worth a thought!

Stayed at Nautilus II for 100 days in January. Killecrankie is a truly beautifu place, and the views from the accommodation were magnificent. Very friendly and helpful owner provided plenty of very useful notes on the local attractions, which were of great use.||||Apartment well appointed - very new.||||Good Wifi, and very comfortable beds. You will need a PhD to use the coffee machine though......||||Two issues beyond the control of the owner. Firstly, don't open the doors at night - you will be inundated with mozzies that will take some time to clear before you can go to bed without being bitten to death. Secondly, the tenants in Nautilus I will take you parking spot as designated, so be prepared to park down the road.||||If you hadn't got the message, there is no store or the like north of Whitemark, so you need to stock-up when the one supermarket there is open (not on Sundays). The eating-out options on the island are very limited and at least 30 minutes away, so be prepared to cook and eat in most nights.
