My Wife and I got married here with all our closest friends and family, it’s hard to put into words how amazing and special this property is. The heritage buildings are absolutely unique and beautiful, the grounds are like being in a movie scene with views in every direction, the staff especially the caretakers are above caring and ensured we wanted for nothing. If you get the chance to visit this place or even book your wedding there, it will be once of the best experiences of your life! Can’t wait to come back for a visit.

I looked at the pictures and thought this place looked nice. It is superb. This house, apparently built between 1805 and 1810 was family home to only 5 families and until 5 years ago was a family home (mansion). This house is built on a grand scale. We stayed as overnight guests but this would be worth travelling to for a wedding… it is beautiful. The main house is amazing with a huge, luxuriously decorated sitting room (with ambient piano music), a wonderful self-serve bar room (lots of wine, champaign, beer etc) and a delightful dining room. Libby made us an absolutely delicious lamb and pasta dish followed by apple/blueberry crumble and ice cream…so hearty and yummy. Our room was on the 1st floor (3 levels in this house.. there is a lift). Our room has 3 large picture windows with long views out into the surrounding countryside. We could see the rotunda (glass summerhouse) from our room. Apparently there was a wedding this week and the rotunda was decorated with fairy lights and looked magical for the couple’s bridal dance). Our room had a king size super-comfortable bed, plenty of room, great views and a modern bathroom with hidden-cistern toilet, vanity and a great shower with a rainfall shower head. Our hostess, Libby appeared to offer and serve dinner but didn’t impose on our enjoyment of this uniquely delightful property. We looked around the extensive grounds and found historic out-buildings including the stables, a stone blacksmith cottage and coachhouse. This accommodation has room for lots of people. You really should travel to Conara in Tasmania just to stay here… you won’t be disappointed. It certainly made my wife very happy to arrive and stay here. We loved Vaucluse Estate… easily the best place we have stayed in Tasmania.

We had our wedding at Vaucluse this week and Mandy who is currently working there was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She was extremely helpful from the moment we arrived, throughout our whole stay to our departure yesterday. She really did make our stay super easy and enjoyable, and our wedding would not have run as smoothly as it did without her. She ensured there was always a plentiful supply of food at breakfast; coffee, tea and alcohol supplies were always on hand in the bar 24 hours a day; Mandy even made her delicious macadamia treats for us to snack on with a cuppa! Whenever we had any questions about what to do in the area or any local eateries for lunch/dinner then she was always there to help.

I would highly recommend this place as a wedding or events venue. It is absolutely stunning and the scenery surrounding you is breathtaking. Our photographers shot every single one of our photos on site as there was no need to leave the grounds, they are so beautiful. The pool was also in fantastic condition, although too cold for us to take the plunge at this time of the year unfortunately. I would also recommend this as a quiet get away for a couple of nights, it's just absolutely stunning 😍

We had our wedding at Vaucluse Estate and it was the most perfect venue for us. The building is stunning and the gardens are so well looked after, we had our ceremony under the willow tree and it made for such beautiful photos.

Libby is wonderful to deal with, she ensured everything ran smoothly for our day and that all of our guests were well looked after. As many of our guests stayed the night of the wedding and a few the night before, we had some room moves and it all happened so quickly and Libby had it all organised for us without any issues.

We had our cocktail hour in the garden and atrium and our wedding dinner on the verandah, and the day prior Libby was working hard to ensure everything was just right for us.

We really recommend staying at Vaucluse Estate and having your wedding there, it truly is a beautiful place and we had the most wonderful experience!

Amazing ! Can not praise Libby enough for her hospitality and hosting us, Vaucluse Estate is stunning. Our room was amazing, a beautiful luxurious bathroom and incredible bed. Warm with stunning views. We had dinner there and really enjoyed it. The property is gorgeous and we will be back !!

Vaucluse is located in a rural setting in the central Midlands of Tasmania about 60km south of Launceston.||The property was the original homestead first built in 1840 and has been recently renovated and converted to a 10 bedroom bed and breakfast property. The property is beautifully appointed and there are some lovely antique furniture items in the drawing room. Our bedroom on the top floor was beautiful with a modern ensuite bathroom and dormer windows.||||Libby the manager was very welcoming and even took us on a tour of the property which was very interesting.||||A continental breakfast was served in the dining room which overlooked the picturesque landscape below.||||Thank you Libby for an enjoyable stay!

A lovely comfortable stay, lovely staff and beautiful views. We were welcomed at the door which was a lovely touch. The gardens are beautiful, as are all the old buildings. The decor is all well picked to match the era of the building and adds a fantastic ambience. We will keep coming back.

Words can not explain how incredible Vauclause is. Philips eye for detail, the food and wine choices down to the simple elegant table settings, the entire venue is incredible.

The property and gardens themselves are exquisite and enjoying a glass of bubbles on the Verandah as the sun goes down a must.

You feel like you could be a million miles away and from the moment you drive down the driveway the property is breath taking.

The house is stunning and the view just as beautiful. Having traveled a lot , this venue and Philips service is world class ..... and wow what a chef. We are all still talking about the night.
