Don't know how old some of these reviews are but even though mentioned on website there is NO functioning restaurant. We ended up paying a lot more than advertised for a clean room, no internet access and a tiny TV that didn't work properly. Would never recommend this place.

The room had a strong smell (didn’t go away for the duration of our stay) and looks a bit dated. We had no issues with check in/check out and there is free parking within the motel vicinity.

Location was fine for what we wanted, to be close to Gillman speedway. Pool was lovely. Spa was very slow on pumping bubbles & area around  pool could be cleaner but maybe there had been heavy rain. Didn’t use the food service.

Stayed here for about a week. Definitely will never return to this hotel. Yes the rooms were clean however we had so many issues. For over $1500 definitely not what we expected. Don't expect the photos to be what you get as they are very different.

Cons:
There was no cooking facilities in the room but there was a BBQ area which looked like it had never been cleaned. Had to ask for a toaster. No plates or cutlery in the room either and to get those wow what a mission.
The restaurant and main area in from reception all closed. They do a breakfast and dinner menu you can order at the counter as they don't leave order forms in the room. Well we got 2 the entire stay
The laundry facility's. Wow. The washer works no worries the drier however. Make sure you have one dollar coins as it will try to eat the two dollars you put in and they know at reception and say "oh yeah it does that. Here let's swap your coins" like what. Why not use a sign or better yet get it fixed.
The two ladies that work on the reception desk, well they aren't very customer orientated or knowledgeable.
Shower leaked, thankfully the handyman was there when we spoke to the lovely cleaning ladies and got that sorted straight away.
The tv in the room stopped and started regularly and the receptionist basically told me to fix it myself when hold up, it's not my job to fix something when I didn't break it. Finally got it sorted the following day.
The air fan in the bathroom only makes noise, no fan blades in the actual unit which we thought was quite funny.
Pros
The cleaning ladies, wow you guys are awesome. Our room when the ladies did it was perfect.
The air con was a definite god send.
The location by a bus stop was great to get to and from the city.
Lots of parking for the cars in the carpark
Beds were comfortable
The bacon and eggs breaky. Wow the bacon quantity was beaut.

I booked this hotel as I have a conference at University of South Australia in Mawson Lakes. The location seemed to be between the conference location and downtown. Since it was an Accor property and I have stayed at Ibis Movenpick and Sofitels many times before I purposely chose this hotel as the quality has been high in all of my previous experiences. This has not been a good experience.
1. I was informed that check in needed to be before 8pm. I had a flight that landed at 7:05pm (booked months before) and rushed to get to the hotel and was able to check in. Check in needs to go later as people have very little control over their flights and it was not advertised that I needed to be here earlier.
2. The property is very tired and rather disgusting.
a. The entrance door is rotting at the bottom and doesn't seal as I can see light easily coming through the seam.
b. The couch in the room is very dirty.
c. Much of the furniture is made of laminated particle board and the lamination is coming off.
d. My room is right next to the road. I am much less than 10 meters from a very busy highway and I can hear every vehicle that drives by.
e. The water has a definite sulfur smell to it.
f. The carpet on the outside walkway has holes in it.
g. The room has a can of bug spray in it, implying that I will be needing to attend to pest control myself.
h. The curtain was not on the rod properly so I couldn't close the drapes to the public walkway. I fixed it myself.
3. The location is poor as no food is anywhere near the property with out a car.
4. I am here during summer and the swimming pool is green.
5. There are piles of rubbish and tree trimmings along the parking lot.

The only positive thing to say is that the lady at the front desk was very pleasant.

Due to many of the issues that cannot be remedied during my stay I need to change hotels and abandon my prepaid reservation through Hotels.com. Hopefully, I can get Accor hotels to at least comp me a few nights in another hotel. Had I known that this was going to be the conditions of the hotel I would not have booked it.

This place would only be Okay if you are using it as a stop over during a long trip. If you are only going to sleep here and move on, then it might be a go if it is cheap enough.
