What a lovely winery. From the start to finish the experience was amazing. Lilly the restaurant manager who was our host was so friendly, informative and overall very knowledgeable and sweet.
The 8 wines we got to taste, $5 pp, had a good variety of whites and reds, they were flavoursome, some more than others, and really surprised myself of ones I would never have thought would be my favourite.
We ordered a cheese platter and warm olives, to have with our wines. A good amount of food, too much for two of us, but perfect. They have many options of good food to order.
It was a beautiful sunny autumn day, and we sat on the verandah enjoying the views, celebrating my daughter's one year wedding anniversary!
PS.. They host weddings, would be a perfect spot for yr special day...

If you're considering hosting an event at Cottontail Winery, I would advise against it. The manager, Lily, is quite rude and lacks understanding. I attended a wedding there recently and brought my 8-week-old baby along. When my baby had a dirty diaper, I stepped away from the other guests to change her inside the main venue. The manager yelled at me, insisting that no one is allowed inside before dinner. I politely explained my situation, but she was unhelpful. Later, when I wanted to leave my pram inside while I put my baby to sleep for the ceremony, she locked us out when I went to retrieve it. I wasn’t game enough to go near her and after the ceremony I had to ask someone from the bridal party to retrieve it for me. The Managers behavior was extremely unprofessional. If you're planning to include yours or your friends children/ babies in your wedding, I recommend looking elsewhere.
The manager also made other guests feel uneasy and frustrated throughout the event. The table I was seated at lacked adequate lighting, and one of our party was overlooked by the servers. Additionally, the manager spoke down to everyone, including the caterers and photographer (who was made to sit outside to eat in the cold and windy weather).
The manager had the nerve to try to charge our friends for “serving and cutting” their wedding cake for all the guests. However, they neglected to serve it, and when the bride and groom raised the issue, it was presented on napkins, all squished up. For a cost of $2 per person for a serving, the cake should have been served on plates, especially considering it was a wedding, not just a casual gathering.
What was meant to be a fairy tale day for our friends ended in tears and frustration. While the food was excellent, the service provided by the manager was lacking.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending a wedding at Cottontails. Usually I don't leave negative reviews but the service almost made me cry.
The venue it's self is athletically set. Bar staff unfortunately left me with sadness 😔 The Bride & Groom were not a priority.
One staff member inparticular (who I wont name) should not be working in customer service let alone front of house (& what appeared to be in charge). She was so rude to myself and many other guests on numerous occasions throughout the 7-8hrs we spent there.
It was the first time I had been to this winery (I myself actually work in a winery doing her exact job, perhaps why I am so disgusted).
It was also noted the way she spoke and managed other bar staff, absolutely disgraceful.
I wouldn't recommend this venue to friends & family and thanks to her customer service I won't ever return to this venue myself.
The meals were nice but quiet small, the kids chicken literally 'fried' to a crisp, good sized kids meals though.

Amazing place with high quality food. Very friendly staff. Even though the kitchen opens till 3 o'clock we were aloud to have lunch as we came a bit after 3 pm. Very delicious vine as well.

I went yesterday 21September to my Grandaughters wedding where do I start. First the toilets had poo on them which I was the first person to use the toilet so ir had no been cleaned the floor had not even been cleaned since the day before where the reception was. The staff well that Lily who is supposed to be wedding organiser is the rudes person I have met in my life she should be working in a prison scubbing floors .The owner well he would turn anyone of there food he is very rude no one makes you feel even a little bit welcome.If we had the last 18 months to work out a venue it definitely would not be Cotton Tails so before you book any event out there read this post Don't Go go some place friendly .The Worst Place to Go in Wagga Wagga I could go on and on but I won't waste any more time on that dirty venue
