We had the most amazing celebration lunch at Wandin. The tasting plate was delicious and very good value for what was served. Wines were paired to perfection and service was great. We could not have chosen a better venue. Note we did not stay at Wandin Valley but couldn’t see how to only review the restaurant. I don’t write many reviews. Only when our experience is above expectations.

Picked this restaurant due to the menu and the reasonable pricing and it's close location to the Rydges Resort. The meals were delicious and well presented. We had a nice bottle of Reserve Shiraz Hunter Valley 2023 with our meal. The waitress was friendly and attentive and knowledgeable. Really liked the relaxed atmosphere. Compared to a lot of other estates it was well priced and cosy.

Visited for lunch yesterday - there were 6 of us - food was absolutely delicious; well presented, cooked perfectly, and large portions. The staff were friendly and helpful, atmosphere was relaxed. Would definitely recommend.

We had the most beautiful night on Friday 14th February, 2025 at the Wandin Estate Restaurant.
The Valentine’s Day menu was sensational. It’s rare to partake in a set menu and thoroughly enjoy every course. Well done Chef and team.
Restaurant table service was second to none, very polite and attentive.
We are locals and we look forward to bringing our family out again one night for dinner.

Wandin Valley Estate is head and shoulders above all other wineries in the Hunter Valley. Their stunning scenery and amazing food is only surpassed by their exceptional staff and second to none co-ordinator Mel. We will be forever grateful for their hospitality and willingness to do anything they could to make our event unforgettable.

I think it is really important to share your experience, but one person's experience does not validate someone else's. My experience at Wandin Estate was a memorable one. A mother daughter weekend started with a cellar door and the best Pink Moscato in the Hunter. The morning started with a beautiful breakfast on the balcony overlooking the Wandin Gardens and a great hot chocolate! Recommendations from Matt sending us in the perfect direction to start our day. The estate was close enough to be close to the action but 10 minutes away to have the peace and quiet of Oliver's Cottage and some local Kangaroos. High ceilings and a comfy bed made resting easy and the shared common room was a treat. We were left alone but a shared number at reception was beneficial in case we needed anything. Walking out to the vineyards of a morning did not get old. We did not want to leave! In the Hunter to celebrate what would have been a milestone birthday for my late mum. The Hunter and Wandin Estate was everything and more then we thought and wanted it to be. Thank you to Matt and the team for the memories.
