First time to stay in the city to watch Vivid Sydney, so I have decided to look for a hotel near the area. With all the nice feedback, wr have decided to stay at Mantra 2 Bond Street Syd.|2 days before our stay, I received an email informing about the on-going construction, I appreciate the advance heads up, I appreciate the update.|The lobby is quite small but upon entering the room, it was very nice and spacious. The bed and the sofa bed that was set-up was very comfortable. We had a very good sleep.|I received a delicious chocolate and hand written welcome card, I find it very sweet.|A lot of restaurant and coffeeshop around tbe area. Walking distance at tourist destination.|Definitely we would book again on the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for five nights on a tour and before a cruise this year. We were warned about the renovation work which, frankly, didn't inconvenience us. We did however very much appreciate the location - very near the harbour area and also the central shopping area. We were here for Australia Day so very much enjoyed all the activities going on at the harbour and we even went to a concert at the Sydney Opera House that evening - a one off experience for us and a real highlight.|We had a studio room which had a separate bedroom and a sofa bed - both comfortable and fitted our needs. We reported the toaster not working - instantly replaced and also the washer/dryer and we were shown alternative facilities which did us fine. The kitchen is not blessed with an over supply of plates, mugs etc so used the dishwasher more maybe than was strictly necessary but all in all we very much enjoyed our time here. Staff helpful. Breakfast good and for location alone, this gets our approval. Our next stop after this was a cruise which left from Circular Quay so we were able to wheel our luggage down to the Quay on the departure day.

Overall great stay. Room was extremely large and comfortable. In room amenities were awesome and included a full kitchen, dining table, and washer/dryer. Our one bedroom also had a large 2 person tub and shower. Breakfast each morning was also good, but the restaurant was closed the remainder of each day, due to Easter weekend. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is great, just a short walk to harbour. Also lots of shopping and dining near by. Metro station right out front of hotel as well.

All the staff super helpful. Clean tidy rooms. Great location! Will be back. Fantastic can't fault. Excellent coffee and great comfortable lounge for reading books and lounging.

Arrived to a wonderful and efficient front desk staff and was provided with a beautiful apartment style room with a balcony. Could have stay a long time and loved it. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent and the drinks weee perfect.

We had a very comfortable bed and a washer dryer right in the room.

The tram is right out front and there are many restaurants and shops right out the front door.

We had a great stay! Loved the location, our room was very comfortable, the staff was super friendly, and the in-room washer/dryers were amazing! My daughter made best friends with one of the restaurant waitresses too 🙂 We were bummed that the pool wasn't open, but otherwise loved our stay!

Good hotel, the rooms are apartment style and spacious. Hence it is a good fit for families and people sightseeing in Sydney that might want to do their own quick meals.
The rooms have been maintained well but the hotel overall is getting dated. They are revamping and painting at the moment which is great but hotels should really tell you this when you book as the pool and spa was shut when I was there.
Overall a solid hotel, well located and easy access to the sights in Sydney.

The hotel was in a great location and the rooms are very nice. I parked in the hotel parking when booking in at 5:30pm. Parking was $65. I said I would check out in the morning but would leave the car until approx. 2pm. I was told the car could only stay until 11am to allow other guests to check in (which I found odd as check-in time was from 3pm). Therefore, I had to pay an additional $65 to extend parking until 2pm, that is $130 to park from 5:30pm to the 2pm the following day. Of course when I did leave the car park was virtually empty, no sign of lack of space for arriving guests. What a rip off!

I have just read the response from the owner asking for feedback on what could be improved. I’m afraid if you can’t tell what’s wrong with charging for 2 days parking but providing less than 1 day’s parking, I don’t think I can help you.
