The cafe has a cool vibe and friendly staff. I ordered a cold drip and an iced latte—both were okay, though the coffee could’ve been a bit stronger for my taste. What stood out most was their fun touch with table service—they use little animal toys instead of numbers, which I loved. It’s a small detail, but it made the experience feel more personal.

Ordered a flat white to have outside as it was a bit busy inside. Instead of a table number, I was handed a rhino figurine which was nice and quirky. The coffee was strong with a deep roast flavour and a pleasant aftertaste; very tasty.

Excellent batch brew of the Colombian beans. Exceptionally fruity. Best I’ve had in Sydney (granted I’ve only had 3 so far) but I’ve had a lot of batch brew in Brisbane and this ranks amongst the highest.
I’d come again but I want to try some other places while in Sydney.

The pastrami and spicy slaw on rye was good. Bit of a spice kick. I think I’d prefer a bit more of the pastrami to come through but that’s just my preference.

Excellent hidden gem coffee bar in a side alley behind the Marriott Hotel. Dark in appearance inside but adds to its appeal. Not a large seating area inside but more outside. Great in-house roasted coffee giving a smooth tasteful flavour. Order some food and get a plastic animal as your table number is funky which adds to its character. A place that appeals to real coffee drinkers and NOT laptop squatters who only want your free Wi-Fi and drink one coffee for hours on loud open hands free phone calls. A must for coffee lovers if in the area.

Cabrito Cafe is located on the alleyway of historical buildings. Light pink salmon exterior with seats outside as well as about 6 tables inside. Almost cave like and I like it. The black coffee was bold and had right amount of acidity and bitterness. Had to ask which coffee brand they use, and was told they roast their own.

Lovely cafe with a very good coffee.
This place has a very hood vibe and I love to visit as it somehow makes me feel like I am travelling 🙂

Ordered a dirty decaf chai latte here and it was really good.

They use real chai and not a sugar powder mix. They have decaf coffee for those who want a cup later in the day. And they have oat milk for those with lactose intolerance.

They're also super friendly.

Note: the place doesn't have wifi and seating is limited. Not good for working.
