Due to a series of travelling “adventures” and a reluctance to have the same repeated the following day my stay was very short. Late arrival and very early morning departure meant missing out on what would, I am sure, been a really excellent stopover. Despite the very late arrival, the hostess, who I very much regret not having been able to spend more time chatting with, insisted on arranging for me to have a meal at a local hotel. |The B & B itself was a really attractive old-style home full of wonderful and very comfortable vintage furnishings. It really made one feel as they have just stepped back to a much earlier time in the last century. A much more formal period but one that exuded with hospitality as that being demonstrated by the hostess.|My own room was called the “Blue Room” and very much reflected its name. Almost everything, including the blankets and bed covering, bed linen, curtains, chair, towels and even the toilet’s water were shades of blue, in a very attractive manner.|Furnishings in the room included a very comfortable large bed and lounge chair. |Ensuite bathroom was small but adequate with a delightful shower head that was adjustable so that a tall person like me was not required to do shower squats (as it might have first been perceived to be required) |In the lounge there was a decanter of port for complimentary consumption, and a kitchenette which enabled one to make their own beverages as well as breakfast in the morning. Truly a home away from home.|Despite its isolation, there was available an excellent Wi-Fi connection with the only regret being that the only table upon which to work on the laptop was one of the tables already set out for breakfast, in the kitchenette area. The small amount of time available to me however, this became only very small sacrifice to endure.|It shall forever remain a very cherished memory of all my travels.|

Accommodation is in a beautiful property between Jingellic and Holbrook, on Lankeys Creek. Mr and Mrs Gregg are lovely hosts. Their home is devided to include two guest suits - a Queen and a King one, with separate bedrooms and onsuites, and a shared living and dining room. We arrived after dark and found it a bit difficult to locate the property. We stayed in the King suite which was specious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. American breakfast was generous and unremarkable.

We stayed here on the way from Melbourne to the Blue Mountains. Under half an hour from Holbrook, it's easy to find. It was the perfect B&B, cozy and warm in June, with a wood stove blazing, and Irvine and Marie waiting on our every need! We spent the evening in front of the fire on the leather Chesterfields, before a good night's sleep in the king bed. Breakfast was simple, but nice. Our hosts had thought of everything and the place was put together with love and attention to detail. Great value for money.

We were greeted with a warm welcome as we arrived at the front door. We were shown through the accommodation and we chose the Blue Room. It was beautifully set up with a comfortable bed, electric blankets and its own en suite (with a cracking rural view). The hospitality was marvellous with lots of thoughtful touches (port, aircon turned on in breakfast room before we were up) and plenty of choice in the continental breakfast provisions. We were encouraged to explore the the old chestnut orchard and creek with 'Shadow' one of the dogs who gave us plenty of stick throwing practice.

Charming little B &B. Marie and Irvin attentive and friendly.
Courtyard outside room door is very nice especially on a warm afternoon/evening. Actual room is nice , if thinking of staying go for the king room , the queen room is not as big.
The only thing holding me back from a higher rating was the breakfast.1/2 packets of breads , waffles , crumpets etc were in the freezer and looked like they had been there quite a while. One loaf of bread had a very old use by tag.
A rethink on breakfast presentation and quality would certainly make this B & B a very good affordable place to stay.

Marie and Irvin are just fabulous! I turned up on their doorstep after a hard days hiking, with a wet tent and sore feet, without a prior booking and they were more than accommodating. The room was very spacious and well appointed, with a lovely lounge area next door. But apart from the delightful rooms and superb rural setting, the hosts are what gives this place a 11 out of 10. Great for a chat and eager to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, they are the X factor. I give this a VHR...Very Highly Recommended!!

We wanted to stay at a B&B on our way to Melbourne with our 2yo. Whilst this place is a little bit of a detour off the highway, it is cosy and comfortable in a quiet location with friendly hosts. The fire was nice and warm. There were nice, simple breakfast provisions provided, more than sufficient for the three of us.

What a wonderful place. The owners accepted our very last minute booking with grace. Beautiful surrounds. Comfortable bed. Hot shower. Great range of food for breakfast and very friendly hosts.
