In March this year, we had our wedding at Saltwater! It was amazing! The restaurant staff who on the day were fantastic & helped make the day run so smoothly from start to finish. The space set up is beautiful and the view is spectacular! All of the guests loved the food & drinks, in particular the mini burgers and duck pancake for entree! We were very lucky with the weather which meant everyone could enjoy their time indoor dancing away or outside on the balcony under the festoon lights! My only suggestion which is hard given its a very busy restaurant, with back to back weddings & understandably space restricted would be all allowing for an earlier bump in or the option and space to drop stuff off the day before, particularly for DIY brides not local to the area. It wasn't a huge issue and we made it work in the end with lots of help from friends! Other than that, no issues and would 100% recommend this venue to anyone! We are looking forward to visiting again soon to enjoy another delicious meal!

Prawn bisque managed to capture the essence of prawn which was nice ! went well with their toasted bread however there was only 1 small slice of bread, more would've been preferable. squid was tender and fresh. For guests, I would salt the bisque more to bring out the flavour of the prawn.

Best wedding venue!!
We got married here in March 2025, and it was honestly the best day. The staff at the restaurant were so helpful, so fun, and they made a special effort to check in on me and my husband throughout the night. The bridal room is such a great little space to retreat to. The venue uses Wedding Road to assist in the booking and planning process, which made things extremely easy for us. The food was delicious. Highly recommend for a wedding or even just to go for a meal.

Loved Saltwater as our wedding venue! Gorgeous views. Food was amazing! All of our guests commented on it being a fantastic venue.
Only criticism was the bar staff, some were inexperienced and struggled on the night. Guests were charged for drinks in our package etc. We had a bar tab after our package & had designated people to speak to when this got close. These people (me being one) were not approached and at the end of the night we had an additional $440+ due which the MOB was chased after for after the lights went out (as no one was aware this was due).
Otherwise it was amazing. Staff on the floor were friendly, you have access to a bridal room, great food.

My partner and I had our wedding at saltwater restaurant last Monday and it could not have been more perfect. From the day we viewed the venue to our wedding day and beyond, the staff were lovely and treated us like family. The venue was absolutely stunning and I could not have asked for anything better on our special day. Other than being able to stay longer! The food was incredible and left no one hungry.

Thankyou to the team for making our day so special. We look forward to coming back.

WOW! Where do I even start? We had the MOST amazing day ever.
We cannot thank you all at Saltwater enough for everything. Honestly, we cannot fault a single thing from the day let alone give you any feedback for improvements because everything was just PERFECT!

Katie and Jordan, your organisation and planning documents made it so easy for us to navigate what we wanted and when. We never had to overthink anything or question, because you had provided us with the appropriate information in such an easy and friendly manner.

The actual venue itself and all the inclusions was just a dream. Little things like not having to worry about cutlery, napkins and even the bigger things like the arbour and wishing well made it SO EASY. The staff on the day/night were incredible. We felt as if they genuinely wanted to be there and were enjoying every moment alongside us. Nothing was too big of a problem if anyone asked for anything in particular.

THE FOOD!!! Well, if we haven't heard it once, we have heard it about 1000 times by now how exceptional the food was. The canapes were incredible! The crowd favourites had to be the duck pancakes and the mini burgers. My mum (who is always thinking about if there is enough food when having events) could not stop talking about how much food there was just in the canapes - too the point she filled up so much before dinner!! And well our mains, the best lamb cutlets I have ever had. Again, have only heard about how good both the cutlets and the chicken was. Hats off the chef!

We came for lunch here on Sunday. We ordered a chicken burger and fissh and chips. My burger was very dry and over cooked. My husbands fish was ok. The menu needs to be up graded as the selection doesnt leave much for you to select from. You can walk in and be seated or book ahead maybe during peak periods. Although the restaurant wasnt busy when we were there. The staff were tentative to our table. The menu is a two and a half out of 5. Location 5 out of 5 close to the beach and water. It does have a elevator for wheel chair accesability. Parking is available out at the back of the surf club.
