Had dinner at Bar Morris and then found a Red Hot Room Rate that was too hard to resist so stayed the night. Booked at about 9:30 pm and checked in five minutes later.

Have eaten here a few times and the food is quite good and better with the 50% Accor Plus discount. The menu has not changed in a while and the choices are quite limited. Same for the wine although I love being able to get my wine in the carafe. Service is really hit and miss here. Some of the team are delightful whilst others are so dismissive that you wonder if they should rethink their choice of job in hospitality!

Delighted also to still receive an upgrade and also to be able to use (and take) our welcome drinks to the room.

The room itself was quite large. I was not expecting this in the hotel as many of the rooms are smaller due to the unique nature of the building. There was a large empty space which was really screaming out for a couch or a couple of chairs and a coffee table. Bathroom is quite small but it does all it needs to do. Great water pressure from the rain shower.

We had a couple of small issues. The casting feature on our television was not working and could not be fixed. Also, the body wash container in the shower was also empty. No big deal of course as we just used the shampoo but these things should still be checked.

Had breakfast the next morning and there are quite a few choices and very decent coffee.

Will be coming back!

The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The room was excellent and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever had the pleasure of sleeping on. The location is perfect, with easy access to public transport, i.e. light rail and rail, as well as being within a 5 minute stroll to the city central. We have stayed at the Hotel Morris numerous times and it never fails to impress. Our next stay has already been booked for June 25 and it won't be our last. I highly recommend the Hotel Morris.

This hotel is simply luxury ! Great bar with premium drinks and interesting beers. An incredible breakfast choice cooked for you ..with a great coffee to get you started. |The rooms are luxurious with beautiful bedding and furnishings. |I stay many room nights a year and would recommend this hotel without question ..in a great location. |Awesome stay ..be back for sure !

We had a great time here! We often stay at Hotel Morris when we visit Sydney. It's close to Central Station, as well as World Square, Pit Street and the Harbour. The room is always very clean, the rooms are quiet and the beds are so comfy. We also love the vibe, feels like a step back in time where people play cards at the bar and speakeasies could be on any street. The staff are also so lovely! The rooms can be a bit small, depending on your room you select.

Rooms are OK but hotel is so small you check in at the bar. Service is good but slow, the hotel is run far too lean on staffing. 2 people were trying to deal with checkouts, breakfast, drink orders and everything else at the same time. Food was very poor.... give it a skip. Rooms are pleasant.

Loved our stay here. The room was a good size and we got upgraded to a king room on check in. We were also offered early check in for a small fee. Breakfast was included which was great (from a menu you could pick one breakfast meal, a side and a barista coffee or juice). The hotel itself was beautiful and close to the tram stop. Would recommend. The staff over Easter weekend were lovely and so helpful also.

The location was perfect, and our room was clean and tidy. The staff were very efficient and kind.

The most impressive aspect was the bed—having two different types of pillows was a thoughtful touch. My husband preferred a firm pillow, while I preferred a soft one, so the options provided were perfect.

Additionally, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linen was of good quality, ensuring a great night’s sleep.

I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return when I visit Sydney again!

My partner and I booked a weekend away. His first holiday in over a decade. A simple weekend in Sydney. But this hotel find made it so incredibly special. Our room was so lush and glamorous and sexy and fun. The staff were so kind and helpful and friendly. The food delicious, the negronis too yummy, and the stay too short! We’ll be back!
