Went to the Inn for a fun night and were not disappointed. The dinner was delicious. We shared five meals and they all rated 10/10 . The service given by all the staff; from the polite man at the door, cheerful and exceptionally accommodating bar staff and brilliant chef, were exceptional and although it was our first visit, we were made to feel like regulars. Am I returning next time I am in town? Damn straight:)
There was live music and an outstanding lead guitarist made the audience groove.

Discovering the Charm of Hornsby Inn:

Nestled in the heart of the bustling town, a stone's throw away from the station, lies the Hornsby Innt. It's the kind of place where the ease of location meets the comfort of simplicity, making it an ideal choice for those who seek convenience without the fuss.

For those who have just reveled in the melodies of a nearby concert, the Inn offers a welcoming retreat. The walk back is nothing short of pleasant. The value one finds here is not just in the monetary sense but in the ease it brings to the travel-weary soul.

Lunch at the Inn is reminiscent of home; it's what you would expect—honest, straightforward fare at a price that leaves you satisfied. It's the kind of meal that fuels conversations and friendships, served with a side of warmth and familiarity.

The rooms, though described as 'adequate,' are more than just a place to lay your head. They are a quiet space to unwind, reflecting on the day's adventures. And despite the proximity to the station, the Inn's walls promise a sanctuary of silence, ensuring that your dreams are not derailed by the echoes of passing trains.

The Hornsby Inn may not boast the frills of luxury, but it holds a charm that luxury often overlooks. It's in the smiles of the staff, the cleanliness of the sheets, and the assurance that here, in this modest abode, you'll find everything you need for a restful stay.

So, if you find yourself in Hornsby, whether for the rhythms of a concert or the road of travel, consider the Hornsby Inn.

I love this place.. the staff here are what makes this place tick...they are so friendly and will go out of their way to help you with whatever is needed. The accommodation is very nice and just what you need for a good night rest with a semi continental brekkie provided with the coffee and sugar.
This place also has an in house restaurant which serves up some really nice meals and specials as per day. I have stayed here quite a few times and now I call it my home away from home.
Like I said "I love this place !"

Stay somewhere else. For $144 I expected much better. Stay at an Ibis as they’re cheaper and cleaner.|I took some photos but the lighting was dark in the room and no power point next to the double bed. A second person needs to climb across the bed to get out as it’s against the wall.

Asked to swap chips for mash on an order and was charged an $6 which was the full price of the side. Why not just say, menu items are not negotiable? And tbh what’s the issue swapping chips for mash? But when it came the food was copious and amazing! And definitely worth the extra $6
