Cute cafe with outside seating and super dog friendly is a plus for us here. Staff are mega friendly, food was great and def can’t fault much. I guess we didn’t give them 5 stars it’s coz the main for dinner didn’t have alot of choices as well as entrees. I don’t personally mind as long as menu changes regularly to ensure we can visit more often. But I def feel a few more entree for sharing would be ideal. We got garlic prawns to start and taste could be more punchy along with the puree. But other than that steak was cooked to perfection and my dad’s fish was good too. Dessert was good aswell.

Quite a nice little cafe serving really good coffee.
Breakfast was tasty, although possibly a little overpriced. And I never know why toast is served unbuttered!

Went there last Saturday for lunch with my wife. While she was eating she found a small piece of plastic, but large enough to cut or choke if she wasn't paying attention while eating. Her food wasn't tasting any good anyway. Also we asked if there's tomatoes in the dish which the staff said no without checking with the cook, well there were tomatoes. Wouldn't recommend for anyone with allergies to try eat there and not suitable for kids to eat there as well.

What a fabulous little cafe in such a hidden gem of a suburb. We stayed at McMahon’s Point for the Sydney marathon, and had breakfast here the day after. We certainly had lots of calories owing, so we were well and truly hungry.
Being a Monday morning, it was relatively quiet, service was exceptional which you would expect on a Monday and food was excellent.
I had a cappuccino, my partner had an oat cap and a friend had a pot of tea. All very good. I had the morning roll for breakfast, which differed from your standard bacon and egg roll by having a poached egg, much less messy than a fried egg. This was very tasty. My partner had the vege breakfast, which she thoroughly enjoyed and our friend had the scrambled eggs and bacon which was also excellent. Overall, we very much enjoyed eating here and would definitely come again.

While we ate outside, the inside is very beautiful, with lots of books and seating available - the perfect place to escape if it was cold or wet outside. We were also super wowed by McMahon’s Point, such an unspoilt suburb so close to the city, it only took me 6 minutes by ferry from Circular Quay. Highly recommend both this cafe and McMahon's Point in general!!

Depending on your mood, you can burry yourself in the back surrounded by books, or cozy nook in the front or outdoors when the weather is nice! Came to this cafe because few other choices in the area were too crowded, and was glad I did 😊. Great friendly service, tasty foods and relaxed vibe.

Finding parking isn't easy in this neighbourhood.

Ok where do I start… terrible service, the waiters were asleep, people were asking for cutlery only to have to eventually get up and get it themselves. Tables not being cleared, and orders not coming out in order. We ordered before 2 other tables and they both got their food before us.
Food was shocking, miles away from any quality, bland eggs, bacon hard as a rock swimming in black burnt oil and bread hard as a rock. I can toast bread better at home honestly.
The only good thing was the coffee.. which came in take-away cups because the waitress said “they don’t have staff to wash dishes, it’s a mess back there”. I just hope the mess ‘back there’ was not the kitchen where the food came from!
Please save your money and walk 2 minutes down the road to the North Spoon where the food and service are good and prices much more reasonable.
What a shame.
