From the moment we stepped into the foyer, we were greeted warmly by the Staff Member that looked after us, with the checking in.
Our Room was a Standard Twin Room. It was very comfortable, very clean, very quiet as well. The Beds were pretty good and we had the choice of a Firm or Soft Pillow. I used the soft pillow, it was really nice.
The full buffet breaky was included in the price and everything I ate was really nice, even the coffee was good.
This Hotel was in a great location, to why we were staying here.
Thank You to All the Staff, that looked after us.

Lovely place almost brand new. Bed is soo comfy.. And strong shower is a must foe me. 😁The only odd thing that i observed is breakfast. They served bacon.. But no eggs at all. Or either sausage. Roast veges?

Rooms are clean and up to date. Presentation is good.

They are small but competitively priced. Showers have good water pressure which is outlier these days with many places restricting to a dribble.

Downside and the reason for four stars is the parking arrangement. Having to download an app to pay for parking is inconvenient and a poor way of managing that aspect of customer service in my view.

Arriving late, having to try and set the app up etc was a pain. It works be much better of it was managed by the reception like the majority of places.

Excellent hotel stay at the Holiday Inn Express Newcastle. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable with all the hotel amenities. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly and happy to help out visitors to Newcastle. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here.

Arrived after a working day in the area.|Easy check in and with a friendly staff member. Quick run down of the package. The room was amazing with a view to see. The gym is small and ok.|The parking was included and the |Breakfast too. Options and okay for a morning breakfast. Local is good.|The dinner has various options with the staff navigating you through an order in service. Menulog.. in hotel services.|It works with the staff assistance with a ring to the room when the food arrives.

What a great experience for a quick getaway to Newcastle. From the minute we checked in, to checking out, the staff were truly amazing and so friendly. Huge shout out to Linda for making the best coffee and hot chocolate and for her knowledge of local caravanning business, helping us out. We can’t thank you enough as you have helped us find our new caravan. Definitely will be staying here again on our next visit to Newcastle ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel has only recently been opened and everything is fresh and modern. Accessibility is easy and there's plenty of undercover parking.

The location is central Newcastle and is a short walk to the light rail, waterfront and food outlets.

The room is very spacious and new with extra wide comfortable beds.

We couldn't be happier to stay here.

Staff, check-in, tea/coffee, bed all great, bathroom very clean.
Food prepared and ordered via the QR code, horrible.
The Hotel redeemed itself with the excellent breakfast offered onsite.
Great night's sleep due to the quietness in the hotel and the quality bed and pillows.
