Had my graduation at Darling Harbour Theatre and it was such a memorable experience! The venue is modern, spacious, and beautifully maintained — perfect for a special occasion. Everything was well-organised, and the location by the water made it even more stunning. Truly a day to remember!

First time to Darling Harbour Theatre, located in ICC Sydney's Convention Centre to attend RuPaul's Drag Race Werq The World Tour 2025 on Saturday 26 April 2025 with my teen daughter.

Kudos to a senior staff standing outside ICC Sydney Theatre guiding theatre-goers patiently to the correct venue — Convention Centre for the show, greatly appreciated! 🙏

Arrived at Convention Centre without much hassle. Went through Security Check with a breeze. Through we don’t have the best view, the experience was amazing!

After the show, there were staffs stationed around the escalators guiding theatre-goers towards the Exit. Everything was done in an orderly manner and my teen enjoyed the show! Nice! 👍 👏

The sound system is wonderful! And it's one of the best organised venue I experienced so far. The staffs are professional, caring and friendly. I followed the artist Zhang ZheHan for quite a few concerts/Fanmeetings around the world including the Melbourne festival hall the Friday 26/07 before this one, including the Melbourne one we often feel not really respected by staff members, but ICCC was so different, the security check point were quite early so no more stress once you get in. They even provided us with free drinking water station. Everything was miles ahead comparing to the previous venues. I heard nothing but only praises from the fans.

Excellent new facility. Went for the wiggles concert and there was plenty of pram “valet” parking, lots of staff/security and a fair priced coffee station outside the theatre room entry door which was perfect for plenty of parents including us!. An A+ grade facility and operation here.

Whoever that old dude with the grey hair and glasses was at the entrance of the theatre for werq the world was clearly has some unresolved personal issues or issues with the group of attendees (if you catch my drift) because the pure aggression he was coming at everyone with was crazy. So strict about going through our entire bag, not even letting sealed food in, wording it to make it seem like we had to throw our water bottles out instead of just emptying them and this was all just walking in the door not even ready to go through the admission. Many other people around us were also talking about him and his weird unfounded aggression towards everyone, as if we were children that needed to be chastised. Ruined a perfectly good experience at a nice theatre

Last night, we watched Melissa Etheridge at the Darling Harbour Theatre, and it was a much better experience than at the Aware Super Theatre.
Everything was perfect: the seats, the crowd, and Melissa Etheridge.
You won me over, ladies, thank you.

Its a nice space generally speaking with well appointed high back chairs, but if you have long legs or ones that don't conform to the cramped chair placement layout I can guarantee you'll be in pain by the end.

The theatre is still very modern with good sound acoustics depending on where you sit, my experience was totally fine however I will mention depending where the ticket places you if you're close to the side of the auditorium part of the stage is blocked from view just by its bad angles .
Its just a shame its so horrible to be a patron in the auditorium due to the seating layout.
Darling harbour theatre if you read this make an area where leg space exists for customers I'd go as far to say it's cruel and is truly unacceptable . 😡 (I'm about 5'10)

Like a couple of the reviews also talk about the transport options to get to the theatre are pretty bad you either take a bike or walk from the train stations town hall or central and that'll take 15-20min. Parking is typically expensive and not necessarily close to where the venue is.

Signage to find your way there is mediocre at best and staff will need to guide you to the auditorium once inside.

As the images suggest I saw the Hans Zimmer show and that was a 3/10 performance with poor audio and crackling that came through the speakers 3 forced encores that confused the audience.
people left because they didn't know if it was over or not and then they played 2 songs on repeat for some reason and caused the performance to run longer that needed to. Singers were 'meh' aka disappointing.
The Light engineer must of been having a nap during the event I had to wear sun glasses or dip my vision as blinding lights kept bathing the audiences eyes in bright light 😡
