Have stayed at this new hotel several times. The staff is always super helpful and friendly, the rooms are a tad small but extremely clean and overall comfortable. Special mention to the manager (I did not get her name) who is outstanding at her job.
The reasonably nightly rate includes a very basic but satisfying enough breakfast.
Although not a tourist location, the hotel is conveniently located for Leichhardt and Haberfield where there are lots of cafes and restaurants, with some of the best Italian restaurants in the city.
Overall, I would stay there again without hesitation.

The new Haberfield Hotel is quite simply one of the best around.
Staff went above and beyond their duty and fell over backwards to please.
The complimentary continental breakfast was the best i have ever seen anywhere.
Being new everything was sparkling.
Free car parking underground was a real bonus as well as the free WiFi and Foxtel we had in our room.
The beds were comfy with lots of bedding available.
Even better than that was the amazing bathroom.
Lots of bright artworks decorate the walls.
Will definitely be back.

Great location very central and easy to get to. Ample parking in a secure car park at no charge. The room and bathroom were clean, modern and spacious. Kitchenette had a Nespresso coffee machine with an assortment of pods, teas and milk. Large shower with the option of 2 different shower heads (hand held and overhead). This was a last minute booking and I received a complimentary upgrade which was lovely. You can pre fill out your check in details online so when you arrive all you have to do is be handed the swipe card for the room, super easy and efficient. Checking out equally as simple and attentive. Excellent value for money in this location. I will be returning. Thank you for a great stay 😊

This was my first stay at the Haberfield hotel and I’ll definitely be back. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and the rooms well appointed and comfortable. The location is perfect for sampling the local cafes or a quick trip into the city.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times for work and always have a good experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to start breakfast a bit earlier. I think 7-9am is a little late for those with early starts. Starting at 6am like many places would make it even better for business travelers. Otherwise, great stay every time!

Location of the hotel is central but there are no restaurants anywhere around it and their kitchen isn’t opened yet (late May 2025). - Ordering Uber eats delivery was easy though.
The rooms were good but didn’t have any carpet in the bedroom space. Very cheap fake wood flooring throughout. Good value for Sydney hotel prices but felt a bit like student accommodation.

Booking process, friendly reception, cleanliness and location were all excellent
Frequent bus to city is almost at the door.
Free,secure, undercover parking is a rare bonus
The included breakfast is very good
The room was a little small but more could not be expected at the very competitive price
Overall experience was excellent. This will be a favourite for our Sydney visits

I recently stayed at Haberfield Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. Communication was excellent throughout my stay. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean with high-quality amenities.
Breakfast was included and added to the overall value of the stay. I highly recommend this hotel!
