We had our Christmas Party dinner on the Starship. It was great.
They started with canapes of steamed prawn gyoza then also presented Peking duck pancakes and mini haloumi sliders.
For the main meal I had the slow cooked braised lamb shanks. My friend has the chicken breast.
For dessert, I had the vanilla panba Cotta. The other selection was a chocolate mousse
Everything was excellent.
Various beers and wines were available.

My wife and I booked the NYE package for us, my son and his partner. It was going to be the highlight of our travels before returning home to Malta. Unfortunately our experience was quite the opposite.
When queuing to board it became apparent that there were a huge number of passengers which concerned us all. Once boarded at 7:30pm there were no seats available only standing room which we had not been made aware of on the ticket information. Since I have lower back issues and a painful hip the idea of standing for some 6 hours wasn't one I wanted to consider. Eventually some 2hr in I managed to steal a young mans seat and held into it despite his annoyance. Not a great start, but it got far worse, the food was gone within minutes of it being served, it was like watching locust's devour a corn field (see pic). The staff were nowhere to be seen and clearly overwhelmed with the number of passengers on board. The whole experience was awful and for the 4400 Aud it cost us a complete and utter rip off. I would advise anyone considering to use this company in the future to reconsider, Sealink is a greedy money making business with the worst customer experience. AVOID

We had our wedding reception aboard Starship Aqua in March. Ingrid, Ben and the entire Starship team were fantastic!! From the start nothing was too much trouble and they were happy to work with us to create our vision for our wedding. Our guests still rave about how fantastic our reception was!! On the night service & food was 5 star and everything went perfectly to plan.

Unlimited champagne and beers.
A lot of food but the quality was not the best…
We got the best view to the fireworks.
The music was very good.
We had a very good time. It’s probably worth the money

We had our wedding at the starship aqua on Sunday 2nd February 2025.

The Captain, deckhand and staff were an absolute delight to deal with and all guests had a wonderful evening.

The food was amazing and even the vegan meals was to die for. Yummy

Angelina our contact person was an absolute delight. Prompt response and answered all our questions.
Mark the director on the day was very professional and accommodating.

Guests were so impressed that they would consider having their own wedding at the star ship .
Starship made our wedding day memorable not just for us but also for our guests.
Highly, highly recommend starship!

Even though there were large amounts of people travelling on this boat check in/boarding were done efficiently as with no delay. Staff onboard were professional, welcoming and friendly

As many reviewers mention, Starship Sydney is an elegant, impressive boat from the outside and has a rather luxurious interior. Boat was modern, well maintained and clean. I found it a nice touch to have a button that alerts staff when toilets get too dirty. Though Despite having at least 400 people onboard the boat still felt spacious and the temperature inside was comfortable. Even though there would have been at hundreds of people on the vessel finding a seat onboard was relatively easy. Seats themselves were quite comfortable. Being a glass boat means that the visibility was great despite being crowded. The audio system onboard was of decent quality and a great selection of music was played during Australia day. Starship Sydney seemed to very well built and felt more like a floating function venue than a boat.

I won't drop a star for this but a small downside is that noise from equipment/machinery can be heard if you are standing out the front of the second deck which can be annoying after a while.

Canapes and desserts were plentiful despite being a large crowd onboard. I believe there was even excess canapes. Canapes were tasty and there was a variety.

Overall I reckon the staff did a tremendous job in making this a wonderful and memorable cruise given the large amounts of people onboard, the cruise exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Starship Sydney and would be happy to travel onboard this vessel again and possibly travel on her sister ship Starship Aqua one day.
