Overall 2.5/5 rating, mainly because the Lead Horse experience we paid for was really disappointing, especially for the kids. We travelled really long to Glenworth Valley to do the Lead Horse experience, but the horse that was assigned to us was really stubborn and refused to move. We spent 10min on the horse and 50min coaxing the horse to move. The horse only listened to the instructors. After the ride, we were told that the horse is an animal after all / has its moods / we were not firm enough. Not sure how we much more firmer we should be as we tried to coax the horse to move along, but it absolutely refused to move and kept stamping its hooves.

I understand the horse has its moods and may not be suitable as a Lead Horse. If so, please remove this experience from your site entirely as you cannot fulfill the service we paid for. Overall, the experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. 2 stars for polite staff and a clean venue.

We had an incredible day out at Glenworth Valley Wilderness Adventures! The Laser Skirmish was an absolute highlight—Sophie and James were fantastic guides who made the whole experience exciting, safe, and a lot of fun. Their energy and enthusiasm really brought the game to life.

On the next day, we went kayaking and were thrilled to be greeted by James again. He was just as helpful and friendly, making sure we were all set for a relaxing paddle down the river.

The scenery was stunning, the activities were well-organised, and the staff went above and beyond to make our day memorable. Highly recommend both the Laser Skirmish and kayaking here. We’ll definitely be back!

Recently went for a horseback trail ride. Staff at desk to check in was super friendly and helpful. The recent rain made some of the trails to muddy but we enjoyed the ride and Beth our guide was so great. My husband and son-in-law also rode the 4-wheelers and Lou was also really great. Fun day trip while staying in Sydney.

We camped over the long weekend and absolutely loved it! Watching the running of the horses in the late afternoon was such a great experience, and to wake up and see the horses trotting along through the mist, just above our camp site was a pleasant surprise. My children were so excited to see Instructor Annette, who they know from school, and loved learning about the beautiful property and incredible horses. The reception staff were also so welcoming and friendly. Look forward to coming back again soon!

This was my first time visiting, and I can confidently say it was an amazing experience from start to finish. I tried both quad biking and horse riding, and absolutely loved both! The instructors were incredible, professional, patient, and genuinely committed to making sure everyone felt confident and safe before starting. Huge thank you to April, Bailey, and Sophie you guys made the experience so much more fun and memorable!😊

I attended a Trail Ride experience while I was staying at the campsite. It was fantastic! Our guide was Will - he was incredible. Knowledgeable, friendly and funny - all the things you could want from a trail ride guide. He was dealing with a real range of abilities and did so exceptionally. Highly recommend this as an experience for all abilities as the guides are great at letting you head off ahead of the group at sections of the ride for cantering if you so wish.
All horses were very well behaved and safe also. 10/10.

Had such a great quad bike experience with Sean and April the other day, they went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and knew everything we needed to have a great time. Amazing area and lots of fun facts from our guides to make the experience even better!!! Definitely recommend this as a fun and exciting adventure!!

Had an absolutely amazing time on the quad biking tour, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Sean! He was super friendly, professional, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe before we hit the trails. His knowledge of the area was impressive, and he added fun commentary throughout the ride that made the experience even more enjoyable.
