Blink and you will miss Gravesend. But keep your eyes open and look for the flags outside The Shop. It lives up to its name. Good coffee and a quick bite are always welcome. The staff will point you in the right direction.

After a hot and dusty offroad motorcycle ride, i stopped in at "The Shop" for a long overdue lunch. The lady was absolute lovely, and she had freshly made burgers waiting for hungry travellers like me. The burger was great and the service was great. What a fantastic little country shop.

I can't believe I'm just reviewing this place now. I stopped in months ago, for a coffee and toastie. The owners were away and their daughter was running it, by herself. Service was amazing, took a bit longer, but I was happy to wait, given she was doing such a fantastic job of running it by herself. It was a busy Saturday morning. I got chatting with a few people and everyone seemed super happy with the service and food.

The best $12 hamburger I’ve had. Even got the bun crispy on a Sunday. Tasty good sized rissole and most important for a genuine Aussie - plenty of beetroot as well as the usual ingredients.
