Came here for dinner while staying in the area. Paid fairly high price for a large crumb steak which was tiny. Salad was rotting and the mushroom sauce was just cornflower and cream.

Really good for a night to stay. The staff were amazing. And the room was super clean. Bit noisy but it was a Friday night. But the noice disappeared quickly. Actually got a really good night sleep. Definitely recommend. And super happy to stay again.

Dinner was very dry and salad was an attempt to murder and the chips were brown to the burnt and not nice instead soggy and drenched in oil as was also the mushroom sauce but that is to be expected from children working in the kitchen and making meals without qualified experience.

Lunch at the pub was supposed to be a bit of a treat. But BURNT onions on my steak sandwich were Yuk!!
Lousy service. No mashed potato for Bangers and Mash. No Pizza available. Good thing the beer was cold, although I had to wait over 5 minutes for a beer in a bar that had 1 patron sitting there.

Possibly the nicest meal that I have had in a long time! Perfectly cooked & beautifully presented! The Bistro service from the young folk there would put 99% of the hospitality workers in the bigger Cities to shame.Well priced too! The bar has a rustic quality. Combine this with the friendly staff & locals and you have an experience you will not forget in a hurry! Looking forward to stopping in there again!

I ordered a mixed grill for lunch at a cost of 36.00. Happy to pay that given the extra meat on this dish. When it came out it consisted of a small thin piece of round steak and a rasher of bacon. No sausage, no rissole, no chop. Very disappointing, I could have got exactly the same thing, only in bread, if I ordered a steak sandwich and that would only have cost 18.00. So different to our experience of most outback pubs. Cannot possibly recommend anyone go here.
