A beautifully well maintained and well looked after homestead and grounds. Stayed for one night in the Sapphire suite, it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Kim is a wonderful host, super friendly and welcoming. Kim was always there when you need her but also gives you lots of privacy to enjoy your stay. We also had an afternoon at the spa and loved it! Such a great place to come and escape for a weekend. Would gladly come back!

We were warmly met on the steps by Kim our host, then ushered through to this lovely old home. Kim gave us a brief account of the history which is fascinating. We stayed in the supreme suite up a flight of beautiful old stairs. Only 2 of us but we had a large room with fourposter bed (very comfortable) and the use of the adjoining small room with a lovely bathroom. It is essentially a B&B as all coffee/tea and breakfast happen downstairs in the large dining room. We had a nice balcony off the room where we could view the beautiful grounds - although no doubt more colourful in Spring and warmer weather. Stunning 100 yr old conifers and gum trees everywhere you look. We checked out the separate Day Spa in it's separate (5 yrs old) building - absolutely beautifully designed by Kim with a large fireplace at one end - day beds dotted around - total luxury - wonderful light coming through the high windows - like a Roman bathhouse only cosy and immaculate. The view was stunning. Only drawback for me was the shower over the high sided bath (only in this suite I think) and having to go downstairs for my early morning coffee. Everything else was a happy memory especially Kim's warm hospitality.

Amazing experience. It was like stepping back in time. From the moment you drive through the front gates and up onto the estate - it was amazing. |The parks and grounds surrounding the manor were immaculately presented and stepping into the manor we were met with such wonderful hospitality from host, Kim.|Our beautiful two bedroom suite that overlooked the Inverell side was beautifully presented. This was our honeymoon and we had our almost three year old with us, whom had their own bedroom. The bathroom was large and neat and we had our own private balcony too.|All Throughout the manor, the furniture, ornaments and fixtures where reflective of the manors time period. It was like a real time warp. Breakfast was amazing and host was amazing.|I highly recommend this place and will be back!

What a treat it was to visit Blair Athol Estate! It was the perfect location for a girls weekend away with a friend, where we enjoyed time at the day spa with massages followed by an impressive platter and wine, a gorgeous room inside the homestead, and a delicious hot breakfast cooked by Kim, who is very attentive to her guests. It was also so relaxing to take a walk around the beautiful gardens of the estate. I hope to visit again one day. Thank you to the team for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely fabulous. Kim looked after us in a manner fit for royalty. The home is beautiful and is surrounded by stunning grounds. Breakfast was superb and generous. Just loved being at Blair Athol. We will be back for a longer stay for sure.

Kim is an outstanding host and runs the Blair Athol Estate exceedingly well. An incredible undertaking as the beautiful house is obviously a lot of work to maintain to the first class standard Kim does. Beautiful grounds to stroll around (loved the boab tree!), stunning district views from the spa building (wish we had stayed on a weekend as it looked lovely) and lots of history to absorb about the house. Recommend for a weekend stay so you can take advantage of the pool and spa house.

Stayed over night in the Emerald Room, loved every minute of our stay at Blair Athol. Kim was so accomodating and welcoming. Aromatic, still-warm chocolate cookies in the afternoon are to savour on the upstairs balcony or down in the beautifully maintained parlours. The wonderful cooked breakfast before our next drive kept us going all day. Have booked a return for my birthday 🙂

We stayed two nights at this B &B. Kim was a delightful host. The house is like stepping back in time with a downstairs drawing room with fireplace, another sitting area and a warm and welcoming dining room. Breakfast and all day tea coffee and biscuits are on tap. I personally would prefer a kettle in room rather than going up and down stairs for coffee or tea.||||Our room was the Opal room, had a separate lounge area and bedroom. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The sitting area smelled very musty which played havoc with my asthma but we opened windows which helped dissipate the smell. The room was clean so I can only assume it is from just being old. The one thing i didnt like was having to go outside to an enclosed verandah to go to the bathroom and toilet. The air conditioner is the loudest Ive ever come across so had to be turned off at night. The heater in sitting room kept the two rooms warm. ||||Otherwise this place is a lovely house, the old world charm is great and the host is very lovely. I was disappointed not to be able to use the pool but its part of day spa and only opened weekends.||||All in all this is a very historic place and we had a nice time.
