We visited last week. It was a very busy night and we didn’t have a booking. We were very happy they could fit us in. From start to finish, our experience was top-notch thanks to Yasmine, the Irish girl. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely lovely. The stake sandwich is the best we’ve had! Can’t wait for our next visit.

We had a nice Sunday Pub lunch, however the pink haired backpacker who was taking our orders could really learn some lessons about hospitality and the hospitality industry in general. Sadly, the lack of interest to offer more respect, care for patrons and even to try and hide the obvious ’not want to be here’ was disappointing. I am a local originally who took my elderly parents out for a bite on a Sunday arvo, usually a good experience, good food, good atmosphere and close to everything. Just the bar staff today need not even be there!

A Hidden Gem for Pub Accommodation!
We stayed at Queensland Quarters last night and were genuinely impressed. For pub accommodation, this place exceeded all expectations. The room was immaculately clean, with beautiful styling that felt warm and welcoming. The shower was fantastic, and all the amenities were spot on — clearly a lot of thought has gone into making guests comfortable.
What really stood out was the meal delivered straight to our room — absolutely exceptional, both in taste and presentation. It felt more like a boutique hotel than pub lodgings. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay relaxed from start to finish.
Highly recommended if you're after a comfortable and stylish stay without the price tag of a high-end hotel. Would definitely return!

If you want to order food, best be ready to wait a long time and pray they bring out what you ordered and how you ordered it. The staff walk around aimlessly or just stand around staring into nothing, maybe also wondering where the meal is you ordered 45min ago.

Gundy was extremely busy, and we had no booking. However, we were welcome. They made a table available for us. We had to wait for our meal, but when it arrived it was worth waiting for. We will be dining there next time when we return to Goondiwindi.

Good spot in the middle of town. Service really helpful, good priced drinks and food. Raffle held, outdoor beer garden is dog friendly with comfy synthetic grass for them to rest on. Inside and outside dining. Accept cards or cash, accessible.
