Visually amazing. Rustic. Heaps of atmosphere. Can fish right off the balcony (rod provided) . Tidy and well-equipped. Very impractical, however. It is really, really steep to get to (out of breath for pretty much all ages and fitness levels) and it is an overgrown jungle to navigate on the numerous concrete and wooden stairs over three levels. In fact, if you could avoid climbing to it altogether and access it by boat only then that would probably be the way to go. The cottage is also not sealed, so if you have an issue with creepy crawlies, then this is probably not for you. Overall, recommended for the slightly adventurous.

Just spent the weekend here with my partner and it was perfect! Gorgeous cottage right on the water. Beautiful gardens, and extremely relaxing. I didn't want to leave! Thank you to the owner who was also great. Will definitely go back!

Absolutely amazing place right on the lake. The host the so kind, welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend to all who wish to have a relaxing, quiet, beautiful getaway. Anytime of the year this place is amazing. We booked during a very wet day and it made our trip even better as we stayed indoors and got to enjoy this treasure. Such a beautiful spot, the property is outstanding. There is a fair few steps to get down to the cottage but it’s well worth it.

Absolute serenity. Charming workers cottage located right on the lake. Enjoyed watching the gently bobbing yachts, nesting seagulls, magpie family. In the evenings we watched magical sunsets over very still water and had the firepit going. Great getaway.
