Shout out to Charles Bistro at the Victoria Hotel in Annandale — hands down the best pub meal in Sydney. No fuss, no snobbery, just really good food done right. The fish curry and risotto were spot on, the wine hit the mark, and the vibe was warm and real. A proper local with heart!!!

The service was terrible, the food even worse.
Bland, tasteless, overpriced for the quality. It should have costed $1 for the quality and expertise that created this monstrosity i was so unfortunate to sample.
Please do not go to this ‘establishment’ for ‘food’
On a lighter note- drinks are alright. But then again, how could you mess that up

Came here off a hunch that they’d have Melbourne bitters on tap (they didn’t.. but not a deal breaker), amazing service, nice atmosphere, real locals feel - and will always support a pub that still does a badge draw.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The food was delicious and there were a great number of choices of various cuisine. The setting of the pub is great with a nice clean and well decorated interior.
I had walked past this place a number of times - what a regret!
