Friendly staff, food is flavourful and generous. Cafe coffee is delicious and Breakfast is great!!
I had a great night's sleep and the bed was so comfy! Shame the TV didn't work but everything else was really good. If you have a car the parking is $35! Bonus that it's a short stroll to Domestic terminals and if you crave a fast food fix maccas and other fast food is a quick stroll next door. Really good for a night or two.

Staff were fantastic. Asked if I needed dinner and stopped the check in process as there were 2 mins til the kitchen closed so I could quickly order.
Room was clean. Food was tasty.
TV streaming didn’t work and the walk was further from the terminal than I thought because of the traffic flow, wouldn’t want to do with a lot of luggage
Overall though, a good experience

At the very minimum, I expect a toilet that I feel reasonably confident in the cleanliness of. The one I had was yellowed with years of use so it was clearly in need of an update. The entire room felt like it lacked a standard cleaning and was in desperate need of a deep clean. Hairs from previous guests were found all over, complimentary shower bottle was empty, shower was not designed properly to allow draining so mold has begun building around the edges. I asked reception about breakfast and was told it began at 6. It does not on weekends in which it begins at 7 so I had to skip that due to flights.
Definitely do not get the value needed for the price.

We stayed at Mantra because it's about a 15-min easy walk to T3 at the airport, and safe even at 5am (at least there happened to be other walkers with us, so we felt fine). The room was definitely sparse, no frills, but we got there at 9pm and were leaving at 5am. The guy who checked us in was very friendly and nice, but the bartender older woman with short hair was very unfriendly when we asked for our water bottle to be refilled. The front desk guy had indicated that was where water bottles were refilled, so maybe there was a miscommunication, but she refused and then fumed about it to other coworkers.

Food was nice, dumplings and the burgers. Be aware that there is no room billing to Ibis Budget despite asking for your room number. We were asked for our room number and we advised we weren’t staying at the Mantra but at the Ibis. Server asked and took note of our room number so we assumed there was a direct and reciprocal billing to our room. Found out it wasn’t when later that night we had a knock at our hotel door advising we hadn’t paid. Very embarrassing. Would encourage the staff to let patrons know so that this can be avoided in future,

Two night stay at this hotel. Not impressed. Room was not serviced after the first night and when I enquired at the desk they confirmed that the room "had been" serviced.... but obviously not! Poor air conditioning units in the rooms. Don't expect to get any heating. Shower unit is fine. Bed is good. Was given complementary breakfast but really I was thankful I had not paid for it. It was poor. I reckon the Ibis Budget next door is likely to be better value. Don't recommend this hotel however there are many others close by all within 10 walk of the domestic terminal.

Stayed there as we had a “first thing” domestic flight in the morning.
What was good:
Brilliant location, Dinner (food and service), View from room, comfort of room, quietness of room, welcome amenity.
What could be better:
No bath mat, only one hand towel, only one bottle of water, poor quality coffee sachets, no sweetener sachets.

This hotel is a short walk from both domestic terminals, and that’s its best feature. The room we were allocated was ok, but it’s hard to see the value of the extra cost here versus the Ibis.

Service was fine although our loyalty was not acknowledged.
