Its always our go to place for bigger gatherings or yumcha. We booked in Horizon for a la carte, during Saturday lunch. After a few teething reservations issues, we got our table sorted, was looked after by Lucy, who was attentive, polite and informative. Made the whole event wonderful. Food was delicious and portions was big, enough to cater 14 hungry tummies. Highly recommended!

Cabra-Vale Diggers has seriously levelled up! The Bistro and District 8 restaurants are both top-notch — high-quality food, great variety, and excellent value for money. It’s become our go-to spot for everything from special occasions to casual dinners when we just want a solid, satisfying meal.

One of the best parts is that you can sit in the Bistro and still order from both the Bistro and District 8 — super convenient. The service is always friendly, the space is clean and modern, and the food across both kitchens has never disappointed.

I’ve tried everything from the Bistro’s pork ribs (only $26!!) to District 8’s pho (which is only $12 on one of the weekdays!) — and it’s all been genuinely delicious. This place has completely transformed and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s definitely not what it used to be — in the best way possible.

This venue is full of things to eat and entertainment galore! Endless variations. From Yum Cha to Vietnamese to Chinese to Bistro to Cafe! Wow. Big spacious areas to sit and enjoy your food. We keep coming back for more. The Mud slice at Poppys(cafe), is devine and coffee made perfectly. The Vietnamese rare beef noodles at District 8(Vietnamese/Chinese) is very tasty. We also had the steak at Bistro 1925 at $14.99! There’s events like dancing, singing bands, karaoke, bingo, mahjong, the list goes on…. No regrets here

Wow! First time here!! What a wonderful experience, 3 years free membership, so we joined straight away then dined at District 8, and SUM Supervisor was OUTSTANDING! Very welcoming and explaining how things work... even though it was super busy being a weekend, meals came out super fast within 15 minutes, and hot, serving sizes are big! ....sports bar allows children too whilst adults can enjoy the football or sports. Construction aside not a deal breaker, security was helpful and welcoming.

We set up softplay equipment hire for our clients bubs first birthday at The Space within Cabra-Vale Diggers Club.

Would highly recommend this place if you're considering an event! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Venue was spacious and lighting was good!

Cabra- Vale Diggers Club is located between the suburbs of Cabramatta and Canley Vale.

Upon first seeing the club from the street, I did not think it was as big as it is. I also thought the main entrance was from Railyway Parade however, there is no entry from there.

The club is used for many purposes and contains numerous dining areas. As a result, it can get quite busy. During my visit, I found the venue to be well organised and very clean. It was easy to find our way around the club. There were many staff members who were very friendly, helpful, and courteous.

There is an outdoor play area for children. The club also has a large, free parking lot.

Having an early lunch, Hainanese Chicken Noodles, in the District 8 food court. Just realise that they are celebrating 100 years. What an achievement ! Congratulations.
