I stayed one night from interstate for a business meeting at the University the next day. The self-service check-in didn't work for me & it wasn't entirely clear where the staffed reception was (you have to ask at the cafe). The receptionist was friendly & the self-service system worked for her. The room was pretty standard & was a good size. The bathroom was a little ordinary with a cheap plastic toilet seat and a shower door that didn't close properly with an odour from the plughole. But for a one night business trip, the hotel was fine.

I had a wonderful stay at Mercure Sydney Macquarie Park where the cozy and warm atmosphere made me feel right at home. The rooms were comfortable, with soft bedding and thoughtful touches like a reading nook and welcome tea. The hotel location right on campus of MQ university and strategic for our 2 full days event. The friendly staff added to the welcoming vibe. Ideal for a peaceful retreat or romantic getaway, this hotel is a must-visit for those seeking comfort and warmth.

Stayed 3 nights. No issues with check in except some staff weren't able to apply gift cards to bookings. This meant that one $100 card I thought was used, actually was not. I had thrown it out before this was established, which was disappointing. Breakfast had lots of good options. Welcome drink offered. This hotel seems to be favoured by tour groups so always busy. Lots of outdoor car parking. Microwave in room is a bonus.

Nice hotel room. Passably clean (hair in shower drain). Woken up late at night and early morning with tourist buses and customers checking in at all hours. When staying ask for a room at end of hallway and not at the front of hotel.

We had a short one night trip to attend a nearby family wedding. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and the facilities were roomy, clean and comfortable.
The check-in kiosk machines are a bit strange but not too bad. Would be good if they could develop it a bit further and connect with your Acoor app to make it a quicker experience.
Parking was reasonable at $16- at the back of the hotel. You might be able to park in a nearby street if in late and out early but price is very reasonable in Sydney. They didn't have EV charging although the university car park next door did and you could park right behind it if you have a long enough lead.
Recognition for Accor members with status was excellent.
Breakfast was basic buffet but done well and once again, staff were excellent. The little Cafe was lovely for lunch.

Very convenient for access to patients at Macquarie University Private Hospital. Clean. Quiet. Slightly challenging aircon and tv remote. Very busy and difficult to make precise bookings when inpatient time subject to uncertainty. A big extra expense to add to medical costs.

My husband had medical treatment and this motel is in the perfect location for easy commute around the local area. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The biggest downfall is trying to find a seat at the breakfast sitting. The dinner menu was disappointing too. They do have great coffee and sweet treats.

Staying at the Mercure Sydney Macquarie Park was an easy "fly-by-wire" experience, from booking online, being welcomed and assisted at check-in, to the wonderful stay itself and easy check-out. The rooms were clean and well-provisioned while house staff were always friendly and willing to ensure our satisfaction. Breakfast was diverse enough to satisfy anyone's tastes, as well as ample enough to make sure we were full, while dinners were varied, high quality and a wonderful way to end the day with a quiet drink at hand! The best part for me was the Mercure's proximity to the locations I needed to visit and the "chilled-out" dining and lounge areas (indoor and outdoor) when I returned. All in all, my visit was completely stress free, comfortable, well-catered to and a sanctuary to relax in at the end of a busy day! Thanks Mercure Macquarie Park!
