Recently had a three night stay with my mum to celebrate a milestone birthday. On arrival to our room, there was a card and complimentary bottle of wine to mark the occasion. We were on the 21st floor in a harbour view room, and the view was spectacular. The room itself was well appointed and has everything we could need. We had the one bedroom and requested the set up be two single beds. This was a little tight but still manageable. All the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and accomodating. Found the location perfect for exploring Sydney, train station very close by and it was so easy to get around. Kirribly village was a lovely surprise. I would definitely stay again

I stayed a week for work in a one bedroom apartment. From the moment I arrived, the staff could not do enough to accommodate my requests and I had one of the best stays I have had for years. I needed to be able to cook my own meals, and I felt like I had a home away from home. The facilities in the room were fantastic. The hotel amenities brilliant including the gym. The location excellent, surrounding supermarkets, chemist, cafes great. This will be my go to for work visits. Again, the staff were excellent!!!! Melinda

We stay at the Meriton in North Sydney regularly. It is always such an enjoyable stay. All the staff are extremely helpful, kind and friendly. From the beautiful staff at the front reception to the cleaning staff, maintenance nothing is ever a problem. The rooms are incredibly clean and fresh. I can’t name all the staff in person but here are a few …. Ashminta, Neil, Ben Sancheep, Rita, to name a few always have massive smiles like welcoming us home each time! The location is brilliant. Everything on your doorstep! Thank you for always taking care of us! B xxxx

We stayed here on and off over our time travelling around on our 2 week Sydney trip and the surrounding areas. The hotel is situated in the north part of Sydney and is about a 40 minute walk across the harbour bridge to circular quay. It is also well accessed by bus, metro and the train network. The rooms are apartment style and have everything you need even a washing machine and tumble dryer. The bed was super comfy with lovely fresh bed linen. We had two different type rooms over our time both very reasonable. The first was a corner view room and wow what a view. The second was lower down with not so a wow view but it was still nice and certainly served us well. There is a hotel pool but we found this to be very cold so not so inviting. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

Stayed here in a two bedroom apartment for a few days in April 2025. The room was slightly sterile with everything grey and white and no real warm feeling. But everything else was great including the very helpful staff, indoor swimming pool and gym. It even has a sauna which was enjoyable after a swim.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights during our honeymoon in December 2024, and we absolutely loved our experience. We were amazed by how spacious and well-designed the room was, making our stay even more comfortable. To our surprise, we received a complimentary room upgrade, along with a bottle of champagne and a handwritten card waiting for us in our room—a thoughtful and personal touch that made us feel truly special.

The staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to securely store our luggage for a few hours before check-in. They even brought up a luggage scale to help us check our baggage weight before heading to the airport, which we really appreciated. The room was equipped with a fully functional kitchen, as well as a washer and dryer, allowing us to do our laundry at no extra cost—an incredibly convenient feature.

They also provided laundry detergent, which was a thoughtful addition. One thing that really stood out was the excellent soundproofing. While walking down the hallway, we could hear our next-door neighbors celebrating a birthday, but once inside our room, we couldn’t hear a thing—despite being right next to them!

Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we would definitely return in the future!

No faults at all. We stayed in the standard one bed for the first 2 days and then when we returned we had a corner one bed suite. Very nice. Great location for trains, metro ferry and buses. Expensive to park your car but as our son lived over the road so we used his driveway. Photo was floor 18

We recently stayed at Meriton Suites North Sydney in a harbour view suite. The view was wonderful, the staff friendly and helpful however there were a few issues that could be rectified with some extra attention and TLC and some that are beyond managements control and obviously due to cheap construction materials/non existent acoustic insulation.
1) The noise. The lifts are super noisy, ridiculously so. We weren't even directly next to them and could still hear them. We could also hear the bathroom fan of the neighbouring room. Also the bassy music from the Greenwood hotel had our room literally shaking, it felt as if we were there. It went until midnight so we couldn't go to bed until then. Our partner joked we got a free ticket to a music festival. Obviously these are things outside their control, but the building should have been built better to provide optimal acoustic insulation.
2) Overall Cleanliness could be improved. The hallway tiles need a good steam/mop, in the room itself the windows were dirty with spiders and bugs trapped in between the glazing, one of the windows was full of condensation from the inside which impacted the view from that window. The cupboards and fridge etc were not wiped down (fingerprints from previous guests on fridge etc which could be solved with a simple wipe down). Behind the stove top was splattered with grease. (We didn't use the stove). It also wouldn't hurt to replace the towels (ours were pretty small and thin). Our bath/shower products weren't full and had been used by previous guests.
3) Maintenance. One of the windows was broken/we could not close it which also impacted outside noise. The shower head connection was also on its last legs. One of the bedside powerpoints in the bedroom was broken/not functional.

Overall a spruce up and improvement to general room cleanliness would improve this hotel.

If you want a good view, you will need to be above at least the 20th floor like we were. We could see the lower floors would have obstructed views from other buildings. Just something to consider.

The location is handy to cafes, restaurants, Coles and the train.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, we could not fault them during our stay.

Overall we had a pleasant stay and were thrilled to enjoy the Sydney Harbour skyline at night. Thank you
