Definitely get what you pay for. Overall the rooms are old but seemed cleaned at least the beds. Main issue was we were told they could hold our luggage but we couldn't find a way in. When a worker came out they let us inside and told us to go up the stairs which we initially couldn't find as another worker was on the phone ignoring us. When we found them no one was upstairs and we ended up having to find a different storage option. The guy who ended up checking us in was nice at least.

Good location unfortunately spoiled by old rooms. Stairs were creaky and there's a lot of them. Bed was hard. Room smells of mildew or urine. I couldn't tell. No daily housekeeping. Air con was a portable unit taped to the window, although the hose had a hole in it so outside air (winter cold air) could come in. Paint in all the rooms/hallway were peeling off. No shampoo provided. No fridge, water or milk. Had a chain on the door except there was nothing to lock it onto. Didn't feel very secure with just a loose deadbolt. Night time was loud (as expected) because it is a pub so no complaints there. My only issues were with the room/building. Needs a makeup/refresh/revamp badly. The reviews for this place is kinda misleading. It's only high because some people are reviewing this place when they were at the pub/restaurant. Without those reviews, this place would probably be like a 1-2 star at best.

i want to give this a zero but THAT is NOT possible so i give it a one. one of the beds in my room was flipped upside down and the room stunk! It was filthy and uncomfortable we tried to leave but the car parked was locked so we had to stay. first thing in my morning we left. But the night before there was pills in one of the draws and thats proof they do not clean. food was okay but not very nice. i will not come back here and i recommend you never come here.

I wouldn’t stay here again. No air conditioning except for a very old portable air conditioner taped to the window which I didn’t use. No fridge, no milk in the room. Four flights of steep stairs. Needs a full renovation with basics in the room. Stairs are a major problem.

The pub has a great atmosphere, great Irish beer and a excellent location, the staff are very friendly. The rooms are also very clean, and are a bang for your budget. All and all we had a great time.

We had our meal with a group of 30+.. One person made an error on their order and waitress was shocking. NO leeway at all.. we understand they they made an error but all we got well too bad you have to pay for another. Waitress continued to give us dirty looks each time she walked past us.. Very unacceptable and unprofessional..

I had the Guinness pie last Sunday for lunch with 13 other people and 6 had the pie ? and I must say it was probably the best pie I had for a long while & every one of the 6 had the same opinion

The staff are amazing and friendly. Bar and bistro on site. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Tea and coffee facilities. Bathrooms down the hall from the room just have showers and toilets. Stair access only to rooms.
