Lovely quiet location, quick walk down to the wharf for the ferry trip to circular quay. Basic bedrooms and a shared bathroom, which was not a problem. Terrific breakfast, plenty of hot options. Stayed for the Sydney marathon so only a 2.5km walk to the start line at north Sydney oval. Very close to the bridge. Would stay again.

Excellent location, easy to walk to public transport options. We were in a budget family room which was a bit of a squeeze with our family of 4 (kids 9yo and 6yo) but fine for a place to rest. Playground is a bit old but backyard had good option to sit and relax. Shared toilets were no issue except for no bath mats. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Sydney.

Had an absolutely amazing stay at Glenferrie Lodge! Such a beautiful place. The breakfast really made it for me - it was convenient and delicious. The staff were also super helpful, I called many times beforehand to organise late check in and ask questions and there were always able to help. I stayed alone so obviously the room was quite small but perfect for me and very clean and nice. Shared bathrooms were also super clean! The location in Kirribilli also MADE my stay so amazing. The neighbourhood is so lovely. And the ferry from either Kirribilli or Milsons Point went everywhere I needed to go and meant I got to see stunning views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge every day. There’s also a train at Milsons Point, so no matter what time I was needing to get back to Glenferrie I was able to easily. Thanks so much for making my stay amazing Glenferrie Lodge!

I stayed here for 2 nights, amazing location and very clean, I was unsure about the shared showers but they are spotless! Rooms and beds are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is $15 entry buffet with bacon, eggs, pancakes, sausages etc - loved it. I would only not recommend if you are unable to climb stairs, as it is 3 stories with no elevator. That said I was on the third floor and I survived.

Got the ferry across , and single room shared bathroom.. basic but comfortable.. breakfast ! So much to choose from , very good set me up for the day. |Only negative was someone above me up really early and could hear the banging about getting ready I couldn’t get back to sleep ?

Clean and comfortable rooms situated in stately grounds in a very attractive neighbourhood. The cooked buffet breakfast is sensational! Thank you Glenferrie Lodge! You are at the top of my favourite Sydney accommodation list!

Honestly I was a bit doubtful when I booked but I got a really good deal in a nice area - and it absolutely blew my expectations! It has super friendly staff, and I definitely think the cost for the location and what you're given is more than appropriate. Breakfast was lovely. Rooms are basic but it's just what you need to sleep - and I had the shared bathroom but no issues with that either. Always available and clean.
Sanisha and Gia were absolutely amazing at guest experience! I couldn't have asked for a better service, honestly. They went above and beyond to help me out and a friend who also spent a night there.
The area was also gorgeous to walk around. I am so happy with the say - great job!

This was a great find and we are definitely coming again. Nothing really fancy but nice quiet rooms. The shared bathrooms are really individual cubicles so you don’t actually share the space at any time. Everything was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is DEFINITELY worth getting as it’ll set you up for the day. Looking forward to staying again
