Our family recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Sydney, and the experience was simply outstanding! We chose a suite with a view of Darling Harbour, and it was pure delight. The view of the harbor was breathtaking and made our mornings and evenings so memorable – exactly what you need for a relaxing and enjoyable trip.

Breakfast was a real highlight, thanks to Chef Roman, who made the most delicious omelets. Our daughter is quite picky with food, but Roman’s attention to detail made a difference; he prepared whipped egg whites just for her, and she loved it. Roman wasn’t just a talented chef – he was a genuinely kind, friendly person who paid attention to each guest and was always ready to help. Even though we previously lived in Sydney for five years, Roman recommended some new, interesting spots to visit, which we enjoyed exploring. It was such a pleasure to rediscover our beloved city through his suggestions.

This hotel truly felt like a home away from home, with its attention to detail and genuine care for guests. Our family was completely thrilled with the stay, and we look forward to visiting again. I envy anyone who has yet to meet Roman and discover this wonderful hotel. Thank you, Hyatt Regency Sydney, for an amazing stay and unforgettable memories!

We stayed for a week in a king harbour view room. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, bed linen, towels etc clean and in perfect condition, housekeeping was really polite and attentive. Check in and check out was simple quick and professional, breakfast was amazing, the buffet was kept restocked and had an incredible selection (we had the continental). The view from our room was so beautiful, the block out curtains were fantastic and we didn't get any noise from the city or cars etc. Some small repair/maintenance needed to be done in the bathroom which they are aware of, but very minor and did not effect our stay at all. Overall 10/10 would recommend.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment I requested a change in my reservation dates, the staff were incredibly helpful, handling everything with efficiency and without any hassle. Upon arrival, the experience continued to impress, as the hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The entire property is immaculately maintained, ensuring a clean and pleasant environment throughout our stay. The reception staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, immediately making us feel at home, while the rest of the team went above and beyond to accommodate our needs with genuine attentiveness.

The rooms are not only stylish and modern, but also thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. The beds, in particular, were incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after long days of sightseeing. Every detail was perfectly arranged, creating a relaxing atmosphere that was ideal for a family getaway. With such outstanding service and a wonderful experience overall, I am certain we will be returning to the Hyatt Regency in the future.

The service was great from a hotel perspective until most of us got locked out of our rooms, and at our business awards evening, 'security' was aggressive and rude. The staff at the bar were quite helpful and happy, along with reception!
I wouldn't let those minor negatives stop me from staying there again - especially because of the location!

Beautifully appointed hotel and room. Great location for the CBD of Sydney and catching the tram. Darling Harbour on the other side. Wonderful staff and all times. The bed was so comfy, and the room was lovely. The only downside was we could not put our blind up to see of our the window but that is a minor thing. Do your self a favour and stay at this hotel. Well worth the money.

Recently came here while working a function. Ballrooms and venue were beautiful with a stunning harbour view. plenty of facilities for all of our staff including green rooms. staff were friendly and easy to work with.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Two Weeks of Omelette Bliss!

Our family spent two weeks at the Hyatt Regency Sydney, living the suite life with amazing views of Darling Harbour. The suite was spacious, modern, and stocked with all the comforts. It was like home… if home came with room service and a stunning skyline.

The true MVP of our stay? Roman, the breakfast chef in the Regency Lounge. This man is an omelette wizard. Every morning, Roman crafted the most perfect omelettes—a delicate balance of fluffy, delicious, and “how on earth did he do that?” He even made special treats for our little one, Mila, who may now be the youngest (and pickiest) omelette connoisseur in Sydney. And it wasn’t just the food—Roman was full of great tips for exploring the city and always greeted us with a big smile. It almost felt like we had our own Sydney tour guide.

If you’re staying at the Hyatt Regency Sydney, you’re in for a treat. Just don’t miss out on Roman’s breakfast creations!

The room is beautiful. The food we ordered off the menu was yum. We borrowed the flat iron and it wasn’t very good. Same with the hair dryer it only blew cold air even while it was on the hot setting.

I found the check in staff attentive, but not very inviting or friendly.

And I needed more than the 2 towels that were supplied in the room so I could wash my hair.

The gym is lovely with a lookout over the harbour. But the toilet out of order.
