As the rain poured down outside, we found ourself nestled in a cozy corner table at Ek'sentrik Cafe, gazing out at the bustling street. With its warm, inviting atmosphere and the tantalizing aroma of freshly brewed coffee, this cafe captured the essence of everything we love about Sydney cafe culture.

The display case was a feast for the eyes, overflowing with an impressive array of cakes and pastries that looked like they were straight out of a baker's dream. What struck me most was their sheer size – these were not your average dainty treats! Each slice was generously portioned, promising a truly indulgent experience.

And the coffee? It was simply superb. A rich, velvety brew that lingered on my palate, easily ranking among the top 10% of all the coffees I enjoyed during my three-month stay in Sydney.

These guys make the best cookies I've ever tasted! The Nutella cookie is amazing. I love how they offer a brownie bite with your coffee too. Super friendly staff, I had an amazing eggs benny and came back a few times during my brief stay in town. Go for the cookies!

Dined for the first time with a friend and absolutely loved it! So I returned with my husband and can confirm that the 5 star service and food we received is consistent.
Immediately greeted by the owner as we enter and seated, a smiling server greets us at our table and takes drinks orders followed shortly after by a third server regarding food.

Food is amazing!!! It’s very competitively priced and comes out quickly, it was all absolutely delicious.

I ordered chai latte and it came ready for us to pour at our table with star anise, dehydrated orange, cinnamon stick and a complimentary brownie.

Even the brownies are amazing ! You won’t be disappointed.

We’re visiting from Melbourne and we’re really impressed by the great service, great food, generous servings at a very reasonable price, delicious greek olive oil available on the table for you to use (As a European, this alone made my review 10/10 lol), and they offer a complimentary mini brownie with your coffee.

Everything was 10/10. I cannot fault our experience here. Thankyou Ek’sentrik Cafe!

Yummy food, friendly staff, big servings, nice vibes and background music. We got the big brekkie, drinks and a brownie. The brownie was delicious, would highly recommend.

The staff were super friendly and accomodating, we really appreciated the samples of brownie they gave us to help us decide whether to get it! Despite it being busy, they were happy for us to sit for a couple hours and enjoy the cafe vibes. It’s obviously quite a popular place, there was a steady line the whole time. Will definitely be back!

Went to dine here today and was absolutely blown away. I've personally been in the service industry for most of my career, and the guys here went above and beyond.

We had the egg omelette, was a massive serving and the owner Joseph looked after us from the time we sat down until we left. He answered our questions and provided exceptional service.

Hands down the best sticky chai I've had in a long time. - amazing people. Immaculate food. Top notch service. I'd highly recommend anyone to check this place out. I'll see you guys soon!!

After seeing a huge line in the morning, we came back for an afternoon coffee. There are a few small tables at the front and a large one at the back. The table at the back was able to fit 6 adults and 1 newborn. The cafe had a nice decor and staff were friendly and inviting. The music that was played wasn't too loud and was good to chill out with. Each drink came with a small piece of brownie. Personally I found the ice Nutella with ice cream a little sweet, however my friends liked it. My friends told me the coffee was also made well. Would come back in the future! ?☕
