Good track with apparent transparency in the care of the dogs. Vets behind glass windows, washing and cleaning and usual racing care facilities. Members area is clean with friendly services. Betting is cash only, which is curious, surprisingly sensible yet strange.

Always a pleasure to visit the Adelaide Model Railway Exhibition and this one, even with COVID restrictions, had lots to show the crowd. Greyhound Park is a good venue for this kind of event and both floors had interesting exhibits.
The Food area had good patronage too. If you are around Adelaide for the June Long Weekend, this is a great event to attend and enjoy.

Amazing atmosphere and lots of fin for the kids, however the workers seem to smoke anywhere they like even though signs are everywhere, it's a smoke-free zone. When asked to smoke around the building, he starts yelling.

I hadn't been to Angle Vale for 45 years and was looking forward to going for the Adelaide Cup. The ads said there would be good trucks so we hadn't eaten all day in order to sample lots of food. No ... two trucks with hot dogs, schnitzel burgers or hot dogs. No healthy options at all.
The line up for the one open general admission bar was ridiculous and $9.50 for a UDL can was disappointing.
Trackside was fabulous. Lots of seating, live music duo playing 70s and 80s music. Lovely atmosphere.
Of course the greyhounds were fabulous. Raced their little hearts out and our party left then ight well ahead. I didn't bet but just loved watching the dogs race again.

We went to the model train show, as we’ve done for 12 or 13 years. The show is excellent, and I always find the greyhound track fascinating. However, at the food facilities, staff refused to give my poor unwell daughter a cup of water when she needed one. She’s very sick and needed a small amount of Tao water for her throat, but the staff demanded $4.00. Also, the food prices were very high. It was $8:00 for a small cup of chips and I had to ask for salt!
