My husband and I stayed at the Stables Motel for Easter 2025. Our reasonably priced room was spacious and clean with a modern bathroom. There's plenty of storage space in the room and bathroom, which we appreciated. It was set out well with a table and chairs as well as an armchair and a huge, comfortable bed. The motel is in a quiet, central location, a 1 minute walk from the main street of Hahndorf. The hosts, Thomas & Donna, were friendly and helpful and Thomas gave us a personal tour of our room on arrival. Donna even remembered my name! Personal service that we found impressive! We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

In the perfect location with off street parking, quiet and accessible. On the doorstep of the Main Street in Hahndorf with Mount Lofty Botanical Gardens and Adelaide Hills wineries in easy driving distance. Spacious rooms with comfortable amenities in a unique setting.

The big problem with this establishment is the air conditioning . The aircon units are mounted on the external walls of each unit and are very loud, old and noisy. Consequently, we barely slept as the person in the adjoining apartment had their air conditioning on all night. We both slept with earplugs in!! My wife was also eaten by mosquitoes. The shower is superb, but as I said to the owner, we did not book the room for the shower. We will not be returning to this establishment .

Great place to stay when visiting Handorf. Thomas is an excellent host and nothing is too much trouble.
The hotel is centrally located (a stones throw to everything).
Rooms are modern and clean with all the facilities you’d need for a great stay.

Great place to stay in Hahndorf, very handy to the heritage shopping area, and good dining and coffee! The rooms are very spacious, and the owner, Donna, generous with the outfitting and supplies. The host, Thomas, gave great directions for sights to see in the area, and made us feel welcome and our stay comfortable.

Gem of a hotel smack dab in the centre of Hahndorf, literally a 5 minute walk to everything and there are lots of everythings in Hahndorf.
Well appointed, clean and comfortable rooms and very modern jet tub and spacious shower.
Free wifi and a comfortable king bed rounded off a gods night stay.

Spotless spacious room with modern bathroom, comfy king size bed, plenty of tea and coffee facilities together with plates and cutlery and free water bottles was a bonus. We arrived early and Donna was most welcoming and helpful despite being busy preparing rooms...easy off street parking. We were a little unsure about the location being not visible from the street. Old converted stables right in the middle of town. Stayed two nights and would gladly stay again if we return...

Very clean modern room. Comfy bed. Friendly staff, what more can I say||Centrally located in Hahndorf, 20 steps to Main Street.||We were very lucky as we got a room upgrade, we weren't expecting it, but it just goes to prove that being polite and understanding can play out nicely in your favour.||Very happy to stay there again when in Hahndorf next!!!
