This is a fabulous find. A hidden gem. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by Isabella and taken on a guided tour of the place and shown how to work aircon control etc. The kitchenette is wonderfully stocked for patrons use - including washing machine and dryer with complimentary detergent. Rooms well equipped and a few complimentary treats! The restaurant meal was sensational. I chose the kangaroo loin and it was like fillet steak. Never had roo that superb before. Hubs had a schnitzel with hot english mustard (not a sauce, but a condiment) and he was very pleasantly surprised by its effect on the chicken. Our starters of venison toast and scallops were an absolute hit. The creme brulee and frangelico affogato left us very satisfied indeed!! Full marks to everyone. Clearly, this place is successful due to its teamwork. Room is stylish, clean and the shower a hit. Surprisingly quiet especially being so close to freeway. Noisier on our street at home! We were here celebrating a special birthday and we will have a wonderful memory of our stay. 10/10. Thank you .

Surprised my partner for Valentines 2025 with a 2 night stay at this lovely historic hotel. Beautiful location in the hills only 30 minute drive from the CBD. We stayed in the Tiers Room beautiful decor with the 5* hotel features, access to a private balcony which we enjoyed the continental breakfast included as part of our stay from the shared breakfast area including laundry facilities. Everything has been very well thought out. The staff in the hotel / bistro were welcoming including the chef. More like a restaurant experience, great food and service. The wine room was a great experience with a wide selection of wines. Very close to the surrounding areas 10/10

Us three 82 year olds walked the Pioneer Womens Trail from Verdun to Adelaide but decided to make it an enjoyable leisurely two day excursion staying over night at the Crafers hotel. So glad we did - what a delight this little hotel is - good old fashioned values and service with modern conveniences. The staff were so engaged, friendly and helpful. I have eaten here in the restaurant many times but had not realised they had accommodation too as well as good food. Can thoroughly recommend a stay there.

After the morning at Cleland Wildlife Park, we drove about 15 minutes for a great lunch at Crafers Hotel. It had a really nice interior decor (you can also be seated on the outdoor patio), really good dining menu (the gnochi and duck mains were delicious) and a good selection of beers. Excellent staff. Worth the stop for a meal or a drink.

Had the most amazing experience with the best service! Elegant and spacious room, complimentary mini bar which was replenished daily, delicious breakfast, quality tolietries (Aesop all the way!), fine wine and good food. This was truly a piece of heaven for us. A huge thank you for the kindness and hospitality of all staff. Very rare to have it all ticked and definitely one of the very best value stay. Will be back. 🙂

Literally outstanding from the moment we arrived. As I work in the hospitality field I can be a little critical about service but it's probably one of the best stays I've had in Australia. We stayed in the Tiers suite, it was all the little touches I appreciated , the free mini bar items, the chocolates and the beautiful Aesop toiletries. |We dined both nights and would rate all staff a 10 out of ten. Particularly impressed with their wine and menu knowledge. The two Jesse's were so lovely, Sam and every other staff member we came into contact with. We are considering a trip back to SA just to stay a few extra nights. Thank you Kate x

The hotel is very nice with the dinning room being set in a very classy way with cloth serviettes and glasses and the staff were very friendly. the meals were nice and were served in a reasonable time. The restaurant was fairly busy for a weekday lunch. There were a lot of tables enjoy wine from the hotels extensive range.
